IMO Car Wash - Trowbridge Recensioni 10

i popped into this car wash this morning as my car was covered in dust from a neighbour doing repairs on his house ( lovely neighbour... he paid for me to use the car wash ) I don't get or understand all the bad reviews about this particular car wash on Facebook. Nobody either waiting or using the wash so i went straight in. The staff couldn't have been more polite or courteous and did a fantastic job on my car prewash.....My car came out positively gleaming...all wheels spotless...Absolutely no complaints from me...apart from its a real shame this car wash is due to close soon

Went to IMO in Southwick, near Trowbridge. Had basic wash as generally have wherever I go. Car came out filthy! Have been to IMO years ago, then car wash was great.

First time in my entire long life that my car has come out of a car wash dirty, and it wasn't even very dirty when it went in!

Told the guys working there, and they couldn't care less!

Paid for one of the top washes. Got home looked at the car and the wheels were still dirty and the back of the car absolutely filthy. Avoid at all costs

Polite and courteous service. Unfortunately still had sticky bird poo stuck to my car at the end of the wash despite having gone for a total wax package.

Everyone can have a bad day, but in my limited experience this happens when the guy on the jet washer doesn't bother to remove it and only gives it a tiny spray.

A bit disappointed with the outcome, a shiny car but one with bird poo streaks.

Car wash does a great job even with a bull bar fitted.
I've found the employees very conscientious and friendly.

This used to be a good car wash at one time, but now, after several staff changes, the new operators don't even wash the wheels correctly. A glance with the jet wash won't clean anything. They are just drifting around and don't even look at what they are doing and are more interested in looking at how many cars are in the queue. Whoever is in charge needs to supervise these people.

For the first time ever the chap with the jet washer before I go in for the wash knocked on the window and said..

“I’ve done a good job, I deserve a tip”

Erm wow this is not the USA. I simply said “yes you did but I have no coins sorry”

Thing is, every now and again I do actually tip because it is a wet, cold and messy job but I will not be asked for a tip, that is intimidating behaviour and is not acceptable in the UK.

Making a requested refund my problem.

Put money into the hoover machine. Machine not working, unable to get a refund as completely unmanned.

Contacted head office. After 3 or 4 standard emails They are unable to refund me and I am unable to get back to that particular car wash.

Lost money.

My car was damaged during washing. The rear spoiler was hit by a drying blower due to poor road surfaces at the exit of the car wash (pits in the pavement). I provided a record where other cars behave similarly, when leaving, they fall into a depression and suddenly accelerate and then back up a considerable distance, but the company washes their hands anyway trying to convince me that I started the car while washing. I advise you not to use their services.
