My car was left with soapy water droplets all over it, company very reluctant to respond to emails to suggest a positive outcome.

Ugh, worst experience ever! I picked the £12 wash for my car today, and they didn't even clean the driver's side. Plus, the cleaning stuff on the right isn't working. You can see the stains on my driver's side. And the customer service isn't good either; the guy waved his hand and told me to go forward, and later he shouted at me, asking who told me to take my car forward, and his tone was really rude. At last, the rotating cloth assemblies that are supposed to wipe the water aren't working; they're rotating without the wiping cloths. This is the second time I'm using the IMO car wash, but the first time, it was in Chichester, and they provided good service, which led me to IMO Porchester

The polishing dryers not working and wheel brush one side not working but apart from that good job

The guy put the jet wash on the car before I closed my window...not good! The wheels weren't cleaned very well and I had to redo them. Not bad for a cheap foam wash but had better.

One set of rollers hasn't worked in months.
Otherwise the service is great and staff are friendly

Always use this car wash. It's local, quick and has a choice of washes. One of the side rollers wasn't working today though.

The QR code so I could pay while waiting, and the service from the workers, polite and helpful. I didn't give five stars because there were no material strips on the drying section so my car was still covered in water beads!

On going through the car-wash only the left side green spinning cleaner was working, none of the hoovers worked, well one took my money but I had little to no suction, so couldn't use it..Staff were nice though

One of the spinners was not working and the final rotating mops had no mops on it leaving the car very streaky.

Paid for the best wash but one of the spinners wasn’t working so didn’t get a full clean.

Having read the reviews here, I also experience variable washes so I present my Google review based on my many experiences which appears to concur with others. I hope based on this feedback and others that IMO across the board standardise their wash performance going forward OR offer an honest discount up front as I've suggested.

In my experience with these IMO car washes, occasionally a wash/wax/dry stage is not delivered according to what you have paid for.

For example, Portchester has had the final wax/drying strips missing for as long as I can remember but they still offer all the washes at full price. I've experienced the wax stage not delivered consistently (the stage between the first wash and the dry) even though Ultra HD has been paid for, and it's indicating that Ultra HD is being delivered by the wash.

I wish that for every wash they either GUARANTEE a full and complete wash delivery OR if they "know" something is not available to specification then they offer a 25% discount. This would encourage wash owners to ensure that every stage is performing to specification, and delivered as expected.

So in summary based on my many uses I feel that I experience a variable experience. Given that in my opinion IMO car washes are probably the best on the road, it's a shame that I feel the delivery is inconsistent so please either train your owners or offer a discount, or make the wash unavailable which their customer service has said they won't do because it's not practical. The discount option is a fair option though I feel.

Pay for the most expensive wash, which is meant to have a wheel pre clean, but it never seems to be used upon my wheels! When I decide to use the car wash due to disability, but have to clean my wheels when I get home, what is the point of paying for the car to be cleaned?

The guy doing the pre wash was sloppy and inattentive. There was still significant dirt on my wheels post wash.

Wash itself though, that was great, just wish the guy had properly cleaned the wheels and the wing mirrors plus the immediate area around them that the machine wouldn’t have been able to reach.

I am convinced they reduce the soap for some of these washes. This is the second time l have bought the HD wash only to find half way through one of the sprays isn’t working or this last time the soap suds were missing.
When l came through there was still bird mess on the screen! I was in a rush to get on to an appointment otherwise l would have gone back.
This is the last time l use this wash.
