Auful
Auful - this restaurant used to be Koi sushi which was fabulous - we have been going there 4 years.
We went 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely auful.
Quality of food was terrible - everything, even including the sushi, was prepared with obvious oil included, even in the sushi rice
Nothing was freshly made; it all seemed out of a freezer; portions were very small indeed even sushi was made tiny.
The fried rice was rhe worst.
We both felt not so good after eating; we aren’t sure if it was all the oil; we are not sure; we never used to feel that way with the previous management.
Speed of food was bad for some of our dishes; you always wait and dishes arrive irregularly but this was the longest wait we have ever experienced .. one dish we felt sure had been forgotten, but came just before we left and paid.
It used to be so very busy as soon as it opened lunch and dinner; there were I think only 3 tables occupied total we were surprised when we arrived and we then realised why.
Lastly menu, even computerised, was all in Italian only and pictures not clear what we were ordering … impossible for allergies;for preferences for ordering, I always used to eat all the vegetarian and cooked fish only; We spent the whole time not speaking together .. just trying to understand the pictures what was included in the food.
Best thing was fizzy water only; that was really beautiful, we ordered lots and that was made on site I think ‘.
We will never go back; we love supporting local Restarants to us. So sad. It really was really bad.
