We are a young couple from Germany and started our honeymoon with a 9-day safari in Tanzania with the guide and tour organizer I Dream of Africa. We would simply like to recommend this small, family-run travel company from Tanzania.

Christopher put together the trip individually according to our wishes, contact via WhatsApp (+255 754 461 594) was great. He speaks perfect English. We took a day trip to Kilimanjaro and to the Hadza/Datoga tribes and otherwise visited various national parks. Due to Christopher's extensive experience (almost 25 years), we had extremely good animal sightings (Big5, leopard hunting scene, fights between lions, a group of lions sharing a dead zebra, etc.). We were happy that Christopher always treated nature and animals with respect. He offers various accommodation options, but we decided to camp in the national parks, for which Christopher brought the high-quality equipment. We were able to hear the animals at night, went on long observation drives and enjoyed the food prepared by our personal "camp doctor" and cook Jophet. Although we can be picky when it comes to food, we were impressed every day. The two of them made an incredible effort to ensure that we had the best time. The price-performance ratio was really good.

Because we are very grateful for these wonderful experiences, we would like to recommend Christopher's Safari to you. With so many European companies, it is difficult to advertise as a Tanzanian tour operator, but this is the only way the money goes directly to the tour operators in the country. The safari we (family of 5 persons) had in Tanzania with Christopher and his team is unforgettable. He is a passionate guide with a lot of knowledge and experience . Also: Christopher is a very nice person !
We learned a lot about wildlife, about the balance in nature, the dangers of climate change, about culture and tradition. Christopher is always searching for new possibilities to observe wildlife, away from the touristic routes. Instead of following other jeeps, we were often alone in a beautiful and vast landscape, experiencing unique encounters with lions, elephants, special birds etc.
We did not stay in lodges, but we camped, which was wonderful too: watching giraffes and zebra's not far away, hearing the beautiful sound of nature in the night.
Idreamofafrica is a little Tanzanian company. Personal contact and flexibility are main characteristics. We preferred this above the European travel organizations. We really recommend Idreamofafrica and wish Christopher and his team all the best and we hope to see them again.

If you wish to visit Tanzania and experience the great national parks and their wildlife, this is the group to use. Instead of staying in a lodge away from the parks, you camp deep within them, and lose no time observing nature. You are in it.
