My experience with ID Medical has been deeply disappointing.

I was given clear information regarding rates of pay and payment method prior to accepting shifts. However, what was later processed did not reflect what had been agreed. There was confusion between PAYE, umbrella and limited company arrangements, and the position appeared to change without proper explanation.

Attempts to resolve this through payroll were slow and inconsistent. Different members of staff provided conflicting information, and I was left chasing for clarification regarding money I had already earned.

For healthcare professionals — whether trainee nurses, ODPs or HCAs — clarity and reliability around pay is not optional. It is fundamental. Unfortunately, that standard was not met in my case.

I would strongly advise others to ensure all rates and payment arrangements are confirmed clearly in writing before accepting any work.

I joined ID Medical this year and have found the company excellent to work with but wanted to thank in particular Perry Steadman.
Since the beginning, Perry has made the joining process as smooth and easy as possible. Once I was with the agency, he took into account my preferences for shift type and location, and found me frequent shifts at a competitive rate.
He has been extremely supportive, patient, and kind, and is very responsive when I had queries. He also checks in to ensure shifts have been going well and that I am being paid correctly.

This agency is a stickler for 100% compliance with all relevant regulations including mandatory CPD, annual appraisal and 5 yearly revalidation as am i. I have always enjoyed doing CPD and keeping up to date. What is strikingly different in working with Denni and her colleagues at ID-Medical is the remarkably pleasant experience of working with their system designed to be efficient and easy to use.
In summary this is a highly professional, easy to deal with locum agency. My job placement needs have been very well looked after by Denni Luya.

It's a medical locum company, dealing with the In-Sourcing wave currently sweeping the NHS. It's able to organise and motivate hard-working medics into effective work parties to blitz the perpetually growing Waiting Lists. The agency staff I have dealt with - Cheryl Caldwell, Frankie Lagioia - have a refreshingly bracing attitude to hard work. It's the polar opposite of the languid style of self-appointed medical mandarins, and if you actually enjoy working, this agency will work for you.

ID Medical has been really helpful with my locum work, particularly my allocated consultant Dean. We started to work together since I was a ST trainee.
