Bringing a puppy into your home is one of the most anticipated and exciting things a family can do. We searched and searched and searched for the perfect breeder. There are just so many horror stories. I still cant believe our luck that we came across Humphries Poos. If you are reading this, please know I am excited for YOU. Look no further, just contact James and start getting your home ready. Henry is a joy, he is happy, very healthy, loves his toys more than any pup we have met. He is obedient, gentle, loves going for walks. In fact today he walked off lead for the first time and it was SO fun! He is 4.5 months old. He settled into our home quickly, and its been one of the best decisions we have made. James was amazing, his information packets are next level. Our vet was amazed.We enjoyed meeting Henrys Mom and Dad also which was an added reassurance. James's property is also amazing. The puppies are raised in the country side, his house looks like the perfect wedding venue! I hope my review has helped, and that you enjoy your new puppy as much as we are enjoying ours.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Humphriespoos, from the initial enquiry through to picking up our pup, James and the team provided us with great communication, guidance and recommendations, and that has continued as our pup has grown.
He is now one year old and is healthy, active and sociable - just as promised.

We have now bought two puppies from Humphries and wouldn’t trust anyone else. The whole experience has been great and we saw our pups from a young age. The owners were easily contactable for the whole process and still enjoy pupdates from us now.

We have two gorgeous, well behaved and fantastic temperament dogs.

We got our lovely Girl Coco this March from James. Very nice guy and always willing to help. Coco was shown to us with her brothers and sisters and mother all feeding from her. The place is in a 5 Star lovely grounds. Coco is lovely and healthy and loving dog. James has always been there for guidance and advise. Thanks again.

I visited Humphries in Feb 2023 and put down a deposit on a puppy who I fell in love with. On reflection after the visit, I did feel it was slightly strange that James brought the puppy out to us and then the mum separately. We did not see the area where the puppies lived and did not see the mum interact with the puppy. Due to changes in my work circumstances and many discussions with my partner, I emailed James to say I couldn’t have the pup anymore and if I could have the deposit refunded however he then stopped replying to me. I never received a response from him which I think is highly unprofessional.

We purchased our Cavapoochon from James at Humphriepoos over 12 months ago…

Right from day one she came to us as a very confident, friendly and well socialised puppy, very willing to please and happy to be left for a few hours without any issue…

She is intelligent, funny, full of energy and loves everyone (humans or dogs!) that she meets…
She’s a fantastic dog and has settled into family life without any issues… she’s brilliant with our children and their friends and always VERY excited to play!

She did have an ear infection, which is common for the breed as a puppy but touch wood has had zero health issues since and this was easily solved with a quick trip to the vets and regular grooming…

I would have another puppy from Humphriepoos in a heartbeat ❤️🐶

Our cavapoochon from Humphries is now 4 months old and we are so in love with him. He is such a well behaved, happy little pup.
We visited our puppy twice before collecting him and found James to always be very helpful answering all the questions and worries we had as first time puppy owners. We met Mum who was friendly and seemed well looked after.
When we collected our puppy we had lots of toys (all of which he loves) food, treats and other bits which were useful.
He was also microchipped and fully vaccinated prior to collecting.
We took him to the vets for a check up a few weeks after having him and they said he is a very healthy puppy.
The only problem he has had was an ear infection but the vet said this is common in this breed.
We have read negative reviews about this breeder since having our puppy, which initially were a bit worrying, however in our experience we had no issues and found everything to be very positive.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Humphries to anyone looking for a cavapoochon.

We came across Humphries during one of many rounds of hours of research when searching for our perfect puppy.

The website looks fantastic and after much deliberation and great thought, we decided to take the plunge and get in touch.

As first time puppy owners, coupled with the worry of being scammed (which is all too common these days!), James really did put our minds at ease and was very informative and responsive.

James is very straight forward, honest and matter of fact, which is all very helpful in what can only be described as quite an overwhelming process (this is after all a huge life change and for many, a very new experience).

James forwarded several pictures of beautiful cockapoo puppies that were available. We were very fixed on being able to have a boy as the other half was feeling out numbered by our 2 ladies (cats) so sadly all of the puppies we were initially presented with were not suitable as they were girls. We had a phone call with James to explain the situation and he was very helpful in accommodating this, including giving us an option of another litter where there was a boy available. We were informed that the available boy was a Cavapoochon, slightly smaller than a cockapoo, which actually worked better for us. We were sent a photo and immediately fell in love and I knew he was going to be our Ronnie from that moment. We paid the deposit for Ronnie and received a few updates upon request until we were able to meet him.

There were some points in the beginning where more information or pictures would have stamped out any wondering thoughts of doubt, only the “surely this is too good to be true”. However, when we arrived at Humphries, it was beyond our expectations in the best ways possible. Humphries is based at a truly beautiful and well kept country house, which is so welcoming and luxurious. Upon meeting James and hearing conversations with other families, it became clear that James’ own family had just had the blessing of a new arrival, which were not aware of but perhaps explained why we hadn’t sometimes had as many responses as we would have liked in our excitement of our own pending new arrival! The point here is, remember, this is a family run business that is very busy and this should be kept in mind. The service that James provides is impeccable considering this.

It really is the perfect place to start your puppy journey and it’s so lovely knowing that your new puppy has been bought up in the best care and facilities. Everything about finding our puppy and picking our puppy up was fantastic, including seeing some of the other families with their new puppies, whilst James gave out all the helpful tips to have the best start with your new pup!

Upon collection, we sat through the full debrief whilst we held and cuddled Ronnie. James has all pups chipped and scans them out to ensure you get the right puppy, very smart! There are also some lovely items you can grab your puppy, we bought the collar, lead and harness as the Design was so great.

Ronnie is absolutely amazing, he is everything we would have hoped for and more. He is now 4 months old and brings more fun and love to our lives than we could ever have imagined. His health checks have been spot on, the vet was very impressed with his paperwork and he seems to take to everything like a duck to water!

I’ve read some of the lower reviews on here out of curiosity and I couldn’t disagree with them anymore if I tried, don’t listen to the keyboard warriors, I don’t believe they are telling the truth or sharing a honest perspective of the story.

If were ever to decide to get Ronnie a fellow sibling in the future, I would only use Humphries for this breed, as I trust their knowledge and care implicitly. I have seen it with my own eyes and lived with the outcomes of such good care it is absolutely spot on.

My daughter recently bought a cockapoo from James at Humphriespoos. She has been wanting a cockapoo since a teenager and when she decided she was ready to take on the responsibilities of owning a dog I wanted to help her research a good recommended breeder. I had a colleague who had a cockapoo 8 years ago so I contacted her for details of her breeder, which turned out to be what was then raffles. Because I know her dog is lovely and had produced her own litter of beautiful F2 cockapoos I felt confident in contacting James on my daughters behalf. James was very helpful and cooperative with all our questions and calls etc. that my daughter paid her deposit within days and was excited for the 3.5 hour journey to meet and collect her beautiful Apricot cockapoo Connie.
Although Connie came with a full health check we took her to see our own family vet for a full check up and their words were “she is perfect”. Connie is so loving and sociable. She is so intelligent and a very quick learner, nailing toilet training in 2 weeks. She has slept all night in her crate since day 1. She did have an upset stomach a few days after we brought her home which as a dog owner can be a number of things for a new puppy settling in and having had a long first car journey home. I contacted James who was very helpful and gave fantastic advice and the issue was resolved quickly.
Connie attends puppy playgroup and daycare with her cousin Winnie the dachsund, they are best friends and love being with other dogs and people.
Connie is a bundle of joy and we would recommend Humphriespoos without hesitation.

I bought Connie my beautiful cockapoo from Humphries poos back in September and since then it has been nothing but a breeze.
She is the most delightful dog there is. She has been nothing but loving, affectionate and a joy to be around. She is also great with other dogs and socializing with others.
She has had no health issues since getting her, and even though she was vet checked before getting her I took her to the vets myself just to double check and they confirmed she is one healthy dog.
James was fab when going through the whole experience of welcoming Connie into my family he sent me plenty of photos, videos and let me meet the mother and father. He also gave me a booklet with loads of useful information on how to look after a cockapoo which I found really helpful.
I 100% recommend Humphries poo to anybody considering getting a cockapoo as Connie is the happiest, healthiest and most loving puppy there is. Overall, my experience with Humphries poos was amazing!

I have a lovely healthy and well socialised cocker poo I’ve named Honey for her colour. She was fully vet checked vaccinated and well socialised to sounds and basic commands. I received written information regarding what to expect when adopting a puppy which was extremely helpful. Prior to purchase I was able to visit Humphries and see and hold the puppies and when chosen see both parents who looked healthy. The establishment the puppies where bred is amazing with beautiful grounds I’m told the dogs exercise in.
I would have no reservations in recommending this breeder.

Good communication when purchasing our Cavapoochon pup and lovely videos forwarded until we collected her. Visits were fitted in for our convenience. The whole process was very professional. Knowledge given was very informative. Follow up is good, any questions I have are answered promptly.
She has settled extremely well into our family, accepting visiting family and friends. She just loves to do training. Such an affectionate girl. Her temperament is delightful, everyone who meets her falls in love with her.

Getting a dog is a huge decision and one I have not taken lightly. Over the last few years I have been committed to researching the type of dog I wanted and what makes an excellent breeder (my previous dogs have all been rescued). Humphries Poos have provided an exemplary service that is dog centred and owner friendly. They care about the welfare of their dogs and pups, evidenced in their practice, education and expertise. They have a wonderful environment for mum and pups to feel safe. secure and to grow in. They have provided us with a wealth of information, resources and lifelong aftercare. James has been responsive, thoughtful and transparent throughout the process of us getting our young pup Luna. Luna is a healthy, intelligent, well rounded pup who is an absolute joy. She has settled in to our family remarkably well which I attribute to her good early start with James and Co and the ‘once home’ routine James provided to us that we have followed. Humphries Poos are EXCELLENT breeders! If you are serious about getting your own furry friend I highly recommended you make contact with Humphries and you will see for yourself all the above is 100% true!

We got our very first puppy from James at Humphries. He has been very helpful from the very beginning, giving us lots of information on our future puppy as well as advice on preparing his arrival in a very professional way.
When we went to pick up our cavapoochon we were happily surprised and impressed by the nice and nurturing environment our puppy had been born and raised, and discovered a very healthy and happy little doggy we named Milo. James gave us a starter pack that was comprised in the price, and loads of tips for a good start. Thanks to him we had a very soft landing at home with an already well behaved and fun puppy, sleeping well and almost potty trained.
A few months down the road, Milo has grown into an amazing dog, so kind, playful, helping the whole family. He is an amazing emotional support to my 2 children, who can’t wait for the WE to have long walks with him and who want him to come along when they have exams.
Milo became also very popular with our friends and in our neighborhood as he is very friendly with other dogs, children, and very beautiful. Many people stop by to congratulate him!

James and the team at Humphries have been amazing since our first enquiry. We got our beautiful cavapoo female in July this year, she's called Margot, and she's the funniest, most confident and beautiful dog! She makes everyone smile and the team at the vets LOVE her! James and the team did a great job and have been so supportive ever since. We came home with everything we needed which meant Margot could slot straight into family life! She has a strong appetite so has meant training her has been quite easy too! I can't recommend James and the team at Humphries strongly enough! Wonderful breeders and people!

We did an extreme amount of research before buying our puppy and came across Humphreys. There has been some negative comments that would be alarming but from our experience from start to finish- they have not come to fruition at all.

We asked a million questions and James answered everyone , some even 2-3 times. We were allowed to visit and see the mum and learn all about the history.

Humprehys are highly recommended if you are thinking of buying a new puppy, I wouldn’t hesitate.

Even after we bought our puppy, James has kept in touch.

A1 breeders- our puppy is 4 months old and just so gorgeous.

Don't listen to the keyboard warriors - James was extremely professional and knowledgable about his pups. I did ask him about his past with Raffles and he had very good reasoning, has been visited multiple times by the RSPCA due to complaints and they found nothing wrong whatsoever. Moreover, I felt comfort in the fact he asked me a lot about my life and current and future situations so he knew his pup would be going to a good home.

Onto my puppy, she's absolutely amazing! I live in London so whilst I had the option of coming up to visit and choose my puppy and see the mum etc, I wasn't able to do the trip twice (incl picking her up). James knew what I wanted and chose a puppy for me and kept me up date with videos of pups and the mum (who looked super healthy, happy and proud).

The vet checked her over in the first few days and said the breeder clearly knew what he was doing as my baby was as healthy as she could possibly be. She's sweet, affectionate, so clever, settled in well, very sociable, great with children and generally the best little girl I could have asked for. She's eating very well, he recommended Oodles Kitchen which is also very highly rated on allaboutdogfood.com.

I'll be getting another one from James next year once my baby is out of her puppy phase :)

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE EVIL PEOPLE…PUPPY FARM… we bought our beautiful cockerpoo Bailey last June, he had endless problems. Aggression, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, hip dysplasia and terrible anxiety… we tried everything to get him sorted, a vet behaviourist, medication etc but unfortunately he was getting worse with the pain, totally heartbreaking. At the advice of our vet we were told the kindest thing to do was to put him to sleep, our hearts are broken, I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest, he was only 15months old, we loved him so so much, the vet was also devastated and angry after reading the stories about raffles and Humphriespoos who’s vet signed Bailey off as fit and healthy which he was not, How they sleep at night I have no idea, they are sick sick sick, please don’t buy from them you’ll only get your hearts broken 😡

Puppy farm avoid at all costs. Would give zero stars but won’t let me. Fell for their shiny slick website, took a deposit of £250 from us, as soon as we realised it was Raffles (the notorious puppy farm but with a different name after being shut down), we asked for our money back and never heard from them again. Search all about Humphries and raffles on Facebook if you need to see more evidence and please please avoid. The poor dogs deserve better.

My wife and I have been discussing adding a ball of fluff to our family for over a year and recently decided the time was right. We reached out to a few breeders and received a quick response from James at Humphreys. After looking through some pictures of a recent litter of Cavapoochons, we decided to head over and see one for ourselves that same week.

The evening before, we read some concerning reviews across social media but after some deliberation we decided to proceed with the visit and make up our own mind.

We were greeted by James who was very professional, knowledgable and friendly. He gave us lots of advice, guidance and didn’t shy away from any questions asked, including those relating to the bad reviews online.

The dog we went to look at was a friendly and sociable male pup. He was a little anxious, but I’ve not met a pup who isn’t at this age. He was happy to have cuddles immediately and it was clear he had some bond with James, as he tried to make his way over to him on a few occasions. We saw both parents (Jamie & Ted) with pup and the nursery too, which was in good condition. we checked over the paperwork which was in order and up to date.

After approx. 1 hour my of discussion and cuddles, my wife and I decided we would go ahead with the purchase of the pup and we are so glad we did. We’ve only had him for 5 days, but he’s a little bundle of joy. Friendly with all humans including our 2 little girls and has been great with our dogs during our first couple of walks.

He developed a slight cough shortly after coming home, but I sent a video to James who quickly came back to us advising it was very likely to be a reaction to his kennel cough vaccine. This was confirmed by our local vet a couple of days later, who confirmed he was a very healthy pup.

James has since checked in on the pup to confirm he is ok and settling in. Overall we couldn’t have wished for a better experience and we are so glad we went to see the place for ourselves. Thanks James et el.
