Howdens had sale / special offer day! I popped in to take advantage of the deals, the 99p specials on essential stuff that saves a lot. Many providers put it about and have a couple but once those have sold and they’ve got feet through the doors it’s “Sorry outta stock” NOT HOWDENS, they put it on order and honoured the sale price!

The staff at Howdens Southend have been extremely helpful from start to finish in the design and supply of our new kitchen, communicating with our kitchen fitter at all times. Maddy, our Kitchen Planner, came to our property, measured the kitchen and listened to what we wanted. We went back to Howdens where we were shown a plan and discussed the final details. We found her very knowledgeable, kind and patient with us, and our queries answered.

All delivered on time and all of the units were complete and undamaged. Others we know have purchased from other suppliers and have had many pieces broken/ damaged and had to wait ages for replacement parts. Beautifully made and very good quality; have lasted over 10 years so far and still as good as new. We always recommend Howdens.

I had a very positive experience at Howdens Southend-on-Sea. Damien was very knowledgeable and helpful with my transactions. Would definitely go back again and hope that Damien could help me.

The help I've received from all of the staff has been amazing from day one anything has been no problem even the van drivers delivering the kitchens are cheerful and polite thanks I'm extremely happy to be part of howdens
Kitchens what a team

Ordered over the phone. Forgot to mention 10% off voucher that I'd been given. Telephone a couple of days later to see if they would retrospectively honour the discount. The big book of NO came out.
As this is the second issue I've had with Howdens I don't think that I will be using them again. A pity as we rate their kitchen design team. It's a pity the rest of the company in Southend-on-Sea aren't as dynamic.
Update....was contacted by Howdens Customer Service team who were outstanding and resolved both of the issues I have had. Faith restored. It would be 4-5 stars after resolution.
I will now continue to buy from them

The kitchen was good as expected, but was disappointed with having no holes or marks for the draw runners,this has never been an issue with any other howdens kitchen I have fitted before, very time consuming.

dealing with Howdens is the easy part staff are all very helpful and know their product very well always a pleasure to deal with Howdens.

Maddy was our designer.She came to our house to measure up and discussed with us at length which range and which appliances we wanted.we were emailed a virtual kitchen followed by an in store meeting to finalise the finer details

Howdens in Southend. Brilliant service. Can’t fault them. Staff were very friendly. Especially Maddie who served me from start to finish.

We’ve had our Howdens account now for 6/7 years and use the Southend branch,
We’ve always used Kirsty West to come out and measure and design our kitchens and she’s just such a pleasure to work alongside. Always very happy and smiley nothings ever too much for her she’s always happy to help.
Even when the kitchens onsite if we have any issues or questions regarding measurements or any adjustments Kirsty is so helpful and professional just makes our life so easy.

Great, friendly, helpful staff, dealt with really efficiently

I have Been fitting Howdens kitchens for over 20 years for many of my customers 😀 over the years they have improved and upgraded there stock. But we have had only a few if any very minor faults which are felt with without any quibbles and charges. I am now refurbishing my own house and hopefully retiring 😀 and will be using Howdens for my last and final resting place. Thank you for all your help there at Southend it’s been a pleasure to deal with all of you regards Dave Pearson D J Contractors. 😀

Howdens were super helpful and sorted any queries straight away. We dealt with Damien and he was always on hand to order, exchange, replace or for any general enquiries. I would highly recommend Howdens. They also delivered items when needed. I am also impressed with the quality of the kitchen and overall experience. It’s rare these days to have such high customer service or helpful store staff. Thank you Howdens.
