We were recommended by the builder to go for Howden’s to replace our kitchen which was in a dire state. I must say a big thank you to Bev at SouthCroydon branch for designing the kitchen with limited space available and gave us a beautiful design with more space and also suggesting few colour choices. I’m so glad that the whole kitchen is now transformed into a modern kitchen. The kitchen delivery was on time and always helpful. After looking at the Xmas offers, I end up replacing all the internal doors, it just looks solid and fabulous.
Well done to Howden’s team for professional and friendly service.

All round fabulous. My kitchen came from Howdens South Croydon branch with the entire process handled by the very kitchen savvy Bev. The details, design, colour scheme and finishes were expertly advised. Bev gave me some sound helpful insight, made invaluable suggestions, even around placing of pendants to ensure optimum lighting results. Having visited a couple of other showrooms, there was a marked difference in the level of expertise, knowledge of the product and all round friendliness.everything arrived as expected and I’m extremely happy with the end result.

Yet again Howdens came up with the goods - reliable, knowledgeable, accommodating, and delivered on time. Why go anywhere else!!

Always really friendly and helpful. If they haven't got it in stock they will always go the extra mile to find it from another branch

Good customer service and quality products

From design to installation we have been very impressed with the service and the quality of the product. Bev listened to our ideas and took our wish list on board but also gave us suggestions as what would work best. Within a few hours she got the proposed design to us which we loved. Bev followed the whole process of delivery and installation, liaising with builders where necessary. She even managed to add more units as our remodelled kitchen gave us more room and organised delivery to coincide with the original order. Very happy with the outcome. I was looking for a new kitchen and had gone to other companies before I went to Howdens. An appointment was arranged with the kitchen designer Bev.
She had been an absolute star from end to end, I can’t thank her enough.
She came up with different ideas and a layout which is superb,so much better than I thought it could be.
Everything was delivered on time as arranged and she ALWAYS returned my calls, which is so unusual these days.
I now have a fabulous kitchen, more than I hoped for and it’s down to Bev.
I would throughly recommend her and best of all she’s a lovely lady.

Absolutely amazing customer service from Bev at the South Croydon store. Bev was brilliant from the start. I had a small poorly designed kitchen leaving hardly any space to move. Bev came in took one look at it and said 'let me take this away and think on it' within a few hours she came back with a brilliant design and how to get the best out of my limited space not helped by a gas meter that was under the sink. Bev completely changed the whole layout of the kitchen and also worked with the builders I was using, to ensure everything went smoothly. Despite me making several changes throughout the process, Bev never got frustrated and was also very accommodating even messaging me through the evening on one occasion just to ensure everything was on track before she went on holiday. The work has now been completed and I have a kitchen that far exceeded what I thought it could ever look like. That was all down to Bev and her fantastic design and planning skills. Bev is a credit to your store.

The guy who served me was just excellent, extremely helpful and very customer focused. I was also mega impressed with his female colleague who was dealing with a customer who just lost it. Swearing and throwing stuff around the store. Well done her for keeping her cool. Mega impressed!!!

Bev from the south croydon branch was amazing! She knew her stuff and advised us to change various things such as the colour of the units and work top, this made the kitchen much brighter and with this more neutral colour gave us more options to accessorise. She knew we were on a tight budget and made sure everything advised helped keep us to that but still with ample storage. She was available to give advice and answer questions when needed. The finished kitchen is top notch and looks really luxurious. We felt very confident working with her and with the Howdens offerings.

Great customer service and good products.

We dealt with Bev at the South Croydon store for our new kitchen. She is a fabulous designer! She visited our home at the start of the process and very quickly understood the brief.

We were making some structural changes as part of the work, and so prior to our visit we were having trouble visualising what the space would look like. Bev talked it through with us and made some suggestions on the room layout that otherwise might not have occurred to us, but that actually turned out to be key in transforming the space. The 3D modelling was also very helpful in this respect.

Bev was also keen on delivering the best kitchen possible, but crucially staying within our budget. I think every recommendation she made ended up being correct, which is testament to her level of skill and experience.

Howdens were able to supply the necessary parts very quickly (a few days), with clear plans provided for our builders.

When we changed our minds about minor details (cupboard handles, etc), Howdens were ok with us exchanging parts.

The end product of this process is very special. We really love our new kitchen. It exceeds our expectations, as did Bev and Howdens generally. We would thoroughly recommend them for your kitchen project.

I dealt with Bev at the South Croydon branch, very helpful and has lots of good ideas to make the best out of the space. Love the final design and so far all going smoothly. Would recommend dealing with Bev as she gave great customer service and communication. Thank you Bev!

I used Howdens South Croydon and they were fantastic. Bev who helped us was wonderful and we love the new kitchen. It was good value and seems robust. The builder was confident with the product and did a great job fitting it

Excellent customer service from all the staff at south Croydon howdens

Throughout the process I have had to check and chase every part of my design. It appears the expectation is that customers check through quotes line by line to cross reference the item numbers, if not items will be missed and or incorrect.

The 'kitchen designer' at no time reached out to check through the quote or design. I made many unreturned calls and emails and now I have a kitchen that isn't what I wanted.

Rather than own up to his mistake, Ollie the ‘kitchen designer’ has lied about me. So many errors were made by Ollie during the ‘design’ and delivery stage. All of this I put up with in the hopes of getting a kitchen was happy with, instead I have received more poor treatment.

My builder spoke very highly of Howdens but the whole process has been a disappointment.
