I dealt with Alicia at your Preston branch to design my new kitchen - she was wonderful, friendly & patient - she would get 6/5 stars!
Something has gone wrong with my order though & I’m struggling to just find someone who can resolve it, rather than being passed from the branch, back to the central customer service, who need to go back to the branch, then to area manager… it’s long winded & complicated & I’m struggling to speak to someone who is empowered to just resolve it.
What started with a brilliant experience, is quickly being turned sour by poor handling of a complaint - including being lied to by the branch manager. How do I get through to someone who can help resolve my issue, rather than taking it & having to speak to someone else?
Happy to amend this review & rating if I can get it resolved successfully.

Had a credit account and bought a 6 panel door, costing £32 and a few pennies.

My lad went in to pay cash and they had no change and said they'll write off the £2 and the few pennies and my son paid £30.

Now this has been going on for almost 14 months where the accounts team are chasing for the difference.

I converted to a cash account and told them over and over and they said th3yll sort.

Now even with a cash account, the accounts team still managed to send me an outstanding invoice for £32.nn

This is painful

As always the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and go out of their way to assist and advise. Always look forward to my pies and coffee when on.

On 25 November I arranged for Howden's in Preston to meet me and my joiner at the house to measure up and discuss design ideas for built-in wardrobes. We emphasised the need for speed to get the units fitted by Christmas. The woman from Howden's said she'd get the design done within a week. If only... It's now 9 December and I've had nothing. Not even a sincere apology let alone design ideas or a quote. I've telephoned and spoken to numerous people at Howden's Preston. They promise to call back or pass on the message but noone responds. Unbelievably poor customer experience. I'm taking my £15,000 order elsewhere.

Just went in for some wood screws and came out with a couple of pies as well ,,,excellent service as always

Great customer service from start to finish. Samantha Moss has been outstanding – her kitchen knowledge, organisation, and personal touch made the whole process stress-free. She’s always friendly, goes above and beyond, and is quick to take a call or answer any query.

The quality of the cabinets is exceptional. We had a small hiccup with a wine cooler, but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Harry, the manager, without any fuss.

Well done Howdens – we’re delighted with both the service and the product, and will definitely recommend!

The service i received was amazing from advice i was given by Lloyd who arranged a designer who brought all the colour samples I had requested. The design was exactly what i wanted. I was kept in touch with my order and received a call when I required delivery. Also, arranged joinery services to call me for quotes. The delivery service was great as well. Great experience throughout.

Great products, great staff.
Have used this branch since it opened never a problem with kitchens or joinery.
Never waited more than 24hrs for replacement bit's.

I had ordered some wrong materials and not order enough of others , one phone call and what I needed was on the counter and the materials I ordered wrong taken back no problem . Everything now installed and looks brilliant. The staff are great to deal with and the products superb
