Helpful staff
Very helpful staff who dedicated time to listen to what I wanted. They even showed me deals that I did not know I could purchase.
Products were also cheaper than some competitors.

Stress and frustration with Howdens Peckham
I bought my cabinets, countertops backboards and backsplash from Howdens. It looks great, however I am highly unsatisfied with the service I received from Howdens Peckham. On multiple occasions I was left disappointed and highly frustrated.
1. The initial quote I received was much higher than I anticipated. When I went through it, there were many items added that I had not requested.
2. The items were not delivered on the day we had arranged for delivery. We had to chase up since my builders were waiting to start the work. It finally arrived the following day.
3. Upon delivery, a couple of the cabinets were the wrong size. This further inconvenienced my builders as they had to chase up to get the correct items in, which also delayed their work.
4. We were short of backboard, by about 1-1.5 m, but Howdens would not deliver it despite this being an error on their part.
5. I was told to come and collect the 3m backboard and it could be cut so I could more easily transport it back to mine. But on arrival the team at Howdens they said they wouldn’t cut it. I was provided with a saw and told I could do it myself. I was shocked that Howdens would not cut the board after I was told they would... all because they didn’t want to take any liability (even though I insisted I only needed it roughly cut in half to transport it). Instead, they were willing to risk the health and safety of their customer! I neither have the expertise in using tools for this purpose, nor do I have the health and safety training that I am sure the staff at Howdens have undertaken.
6. When the kitchen was just about finished, I noticed part of the backboard was missing trim. It turns out there wasn’t sufficient trim either, since the backboard was incorrectly measured. Again, I called to say that extra trim was needed, and asked for this to be delivered. Again, the answer was no. Again, despite this being Howden's error.
7. I was told my new kitchen would include a drawer below the oven. However, this was not received, or changed without my knowledge.
Howdens had been recommended to me, and I was told it could be a bit pricey, but you pay for the quality and service. Unfortunately, even though I’m happy with the end result, I CANNOT recommend Howdens Peckham due to the experience I had.

The kitchen was delivered without my order, my builder customer's client is dealing direct with Howdens and I have the invoice to pay when the client is withholding payment of the kitchen.
