I recently worked with a customer for whom I personally carried out the site measure, prepared the design, and obtained pricing through my usual depot. I then sent the quotation and plans directly to the customer.

Subsequently, the customer attended the Expo, provided my details and their address, and was directed to the Moulton branch rather than my usual branch. I received a phone call regarding this and explained that the project was already being managed and that no further action was required from their side. Despite this, the Moulton branch continued to pursue the quotation directly with the customer. My understanding is that this type of direct engagement with the end user is not permitted within Howdens’ procedures.

The customer was then provided with an account by the branch despite not being in the trade, and was offered pricing that was reportedly better than standard trade rates and close to staff discount levels.

Having reviewed the quotation further, I have also identified significant issues with the design and pricing provided by the Moulton branch. The quotation did not include worktops or end panels, both of which the customer confirmed were required and had been discussed previously.

As a result of these actions, the Moulton branch has effectively cost me both this job and the opportunity for future work with this customer, directly impacting my business and income. I have raised my concerns with both the designer involved, and the branch manager, yet the situation has still continued. Given the branch’s apparent pressure to meet targets, this behaviour appears highly unprofessional and, in my view, amounts to poaching work that was already being managed elsewhere.

I find the entire situation underhanded and morally wrong. As a result, I no longer feel comfortable using the Moulton branch, even if doing so makes my own work more difficult going forward.

Good quality kitchen. Pleasant and friendly service.

Delivery is very poor, It took two deliveries NOT one delivery to solve it & delivery schedue & time is very poor, I kept calling them when the delivery will arrive, I have had bad experience with Howdens

Great staff, always efficient and supply me with exactly what I need to complete my various carpentry projects. There are a few Howdens depot's in my area but I always use the guys at Moulton park for their friendly, efficient approach. Thank you Matt, Kelly and the rest of the team A+ service 👍

Been using Howdens at Milton park for a number of years now Matt and his team have been fantastic from design to delivery can’t recommend enough even keeping me up to date on latest deals which save money and time

An excellent service from my initial contact through to the delivery. Everyone at the branch was very helpful and informative especially Matt who's the store manager. It's a pleasure to work with a branch who provide such great customer service and a fantastic product.

The manager of this store lies and abuses his customers. Made a promise that cost me my xmas break with my family. Long story short. He promised me a delivery on at 9am on the 23rd December. I kept calling and calling to be told "it's around the corner". I later found out that they had prioritized other deliveries because they had sent out the wrong colour kitchen (top quality "management") being sent out before mine despite agreeing this a couple of weeks previously. I didn't get my order until lunch time which meant i had to work Christmas Eve due to the lies and abuse demonstrated by this "adult". Its extremely unprofessional and despite the discount and "complaint handling" done by the regional manager, i still won't get this time back with my grandfather. What annoyed me the most is i have yet to receive a genuine apology from the "man" responsible. Absolutely disgusting behaviour that as far as i am aware has had no disciplinary action taken.

My beautiful, stylish and contemporary Howden’s kitchen is everything I wanted it to be. Maisie, the designer, has been amazing. Her expertise enabled me to select the perfect answer to all my ‘wish list’ needs. My Fitter Les Allen was experienced in Howden’s kitchens and ensured a great finish. All the Howden’s staff were helpful and courteous and I can’t recommend the company highly enough. The whole experience has brought me so much pleasure. Thank you.

Would give less if I could website said it opens at 7:30 I sat in the car park for 10 mins and still it wasn’t open

This branch went above and beyond. Needed a matching Worktop which has been discontinued. Kelly found 2 on her inventory, collected one. But when I opened it badly damaged. Went back and collected other. Staff very helpful.
