Delivered on time, 1 piece missing and they send us the missing piece in the next day. Easy to communicate. Friendly staff and helpful.

They have super quality products with kitchen units,worktop and appliances.Also the door and flooring.
I have been using this company last twenty two years.I never have any problems.All my clients are very happy with the products.
I would recommend to all trade business friends.
Kentish Town branch staff are very helpful and friendly too

Howdens made several errors including over ordering £1200.00 of fittings
The person who designed our kitchen (and made the errors) apparently resigned soon after. Howdens did not assign us a replacement designer and no explanation was given for their mistakes
They made us return the over ordered materials ourselves and refused to refund some of the materials
In short the product was fine but the service was awful and I am still out of pocket by £300.00

Avoid Howdens Kentish Town – Poor Service, Misleading Planning, and No Accountability

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Howdens Kentish Town. I paid for a kitchen design and was misadvised throughout. The planner took poor measurements around my gas meter and included a plinth drawer in a space where it’s physically impossible to install—she knew the meter was on the floor, yet included it anyway.

Despite raising concerns, I was told to pay £500 to receive the plan—an obvious tactic to lock me in. Once the kitchen was delivered, my builders spent hours trying to make sense of parts that simply didn’t fit. The second plinth drawer was the wrong size, and the so-called boiler cabinet was just panels that had to be cut and adjusted. Even the boiler door wasn’t delivered—I had to collect it myself after repeated false promises.

Returns were a nightmare. I arranged collections multiple times; they either didn’t turn up or left early. When items were finally collected and I requested a refund, the depot manager, Kaileigh, was rude and dismissive. She refused to refund because the boxes had been opened—despite the fact that builders had only opened them to try and install what Howdens had wrongly supplied. Their own boxes arrived opened, and that was fine for them.

Howdens refused to take responsibility for the planner’s mistakes, blaming me for not scrutinising the parts list in detail—even though many of these were technical items I had no way of understanding.

I was reasonable throughout—tried to work with what was delivered, even used damaged parts to avoid delays—but Howdens treated that as weakness. Their customer service is appalling, communication is poor, and once they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own.

Kitchen renovation should be a pleasant experience. This was stressful, costly, and deeply frustrating. Avoid Howdens—especially the Kentish Town branch.

Easy to deal with .Order,completed when they said with nothing missing & ready for collection . My clients like the range of choices ,so many cupboard options in a strong carcase and no chipboard on facias .good work team!
Not sure I like the on line instructions . ,downloaded it so it's with me as & when I need it.

All branches is good but this Kenthishtown one is a different very good for the all coustumer they are always smaily face,helpful,they are always trying to help people mordant it’s possible I’m really happy from the whole team at this branch 👏

I’ve been using Howdens for many years and rarely go anywhere else, the staff at the KT branch are highly knowledgeable and very helpful.
Freshly made coffee and the posh biscuits always go down a treat while you’re waiting for the warehouse lads to pick your stock.
Looking forward to receiving my next kitchen, the delivery driver Guy is an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing but positive feedback from me

Great responsiveness and service

After booking a design appointment, I had a designer attend the following day. Karan was great and made me excited to get started with my project.

Awful experience. The Kentish town branch are a bunch of crooks who try to sell you damaged 2nd hand products. Extremely high prices as well. Much better experiences elsewhere, such as Tom
Howley, Plain English, or even Magnet.

The ladies in the front of house are fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Ordering is easy and stock delivery updates are frequent and accurate. Good value too.

Very helpful easy to learn order good delivery time

Appalling service from start to finish. Slow responses, I was quoted outrageously high prices. No communication once payment was made and not everything I ordered turned up. Management was rude and unhelpful. Had to travel to 3 different Howden stores to get my order. Would not recommend.

Howdens give me a good price and best quality ever I'm doing a professional gob and all my client's are happy!
