We recently had designed and fitted with the help of Adam Goldberg who was was very helpful and accommodating with the selection of the Units.. The Fitter Graham Sanders who we selected from a list of independent tradesman accredited by Howden Garforth has done an excellent job in coordinating and fitting the kitchen including dealing with the Electrician Tony Phillips, organising plastering and working with the worktop fitters..

We contacted Howdens in Garforth and Matt came out to see us. He measured up the kitchen and we discussed everything we wanted. We then had a follow up appointment at Howdens, Garforth with Matt. We picked our units, handles, sink etc and were told we would get a quote in a few weeks. That was Feb 2024. In April I called the office to ask about our quote and were told that Matt would be onto it soon. In June I messaged Howdens direct on their web site. I got an automated reply saying I would receive a reply in two working days. I didn't. It is now November and we are just getting our kitchen done by a professional company. I would have preferred to have been without a kitchen when it was warmer than we are now as we await our new one in two weeks. Absolutely appalling customer service, I would avoid the Garforth branch and Matt.

As a prospective customer in urgent need of a new kitchen, I reached out to Howdens.com via their website's "Book a Design Appointment" feature on May 9th, 2024, with high hopes of availing myself of their reputed services. However, as of May 14th, 2024, I'm left disheartened and frustrated by the complete absence of any response from their end.
It is baffling how a company that touts itself as the UK's number one in its field can exhibit such a disregard for basic professional courtesy. In my opinion, the cornerstone of any successful business lies in prompt and efficient communication with potential clients, especially when they express an urgent need for their services.
With a substantial budget of £30,000 ready to invest, one would reasonably expect a timely acknowledgment, if not a proactive response, from a company of Howdens' stature. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, leaving me to question their commitment to delivering quality products and services.
While I had heard positive feedback about Howdens in the past, this experience has cast a shadow of doubt on their reliability and customer-centric approach. Regrettably, I must now reconsider my decision to engage with them for my kitchen renovation project.
In conclusion, the lack of responsiveness demonstrated by Howdens.com Trade Kitchens is not only disappointing but also indicative of a significant flaw in their business operations. Until they rectify this issue and demonstrate a genuine commitment to timely and professional communication, I cannot in good conscience endorse their services.

My builder recently replaced my kitchen worktops, stainless steel sink and taps. From day one the hot tap dripped and the stainless steel sink scratched just by moving my existing dish drainer on its surface! My builder went back to Howdens who agreed to replace the taps but refused to replace the sink because I must have scratched it. A stainless steel sink should be of good enough quality to withstand normal day to day use and items being placed on it, and my previous sink that was taken out certainly was much better quality, having been in situ for several years. I think it’s disgusting that my builder had to go buy another sink from another supplier and is now out of pocket. I shall also be emailing the company directly.
Howdens has now replied saying they will pass on my comments internally. That response is not sufficient, they need to refund my builder for the defective sink.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THEY SAY TO EMAIL THEM DIRECTLY at the email address they quote on their replies to enable further communication they actually JUST IGNORE YOU.

Quick delivery was good but the delivery charges are high ie £145 is not proportionate to the relatively small amount/volume delivered, need to be reviewed to be realistic and VFM.

Just got to say I’ve just experienced the best customer service from Howdens Garforth branch … had my kitchen 2 and half years and all appliances … fridge kept freezing up at the back ../ I contacted Howdens for a purchase receipt so I could ring the manufacturer as still under warranty …. They said no problem we will do it all for you someone will be in touch by end of today … sure enough they were that was last Monday … engineer came out same week looked at it said nope you need a new one … Friday got a call saying we’ll order fridge Monday for fitting Tuesday … can’t believe the speed and ease of the service new fridge just been fitted .. excellent service
