1 star for me i would give 0 but it doesnt allow it

ordered C24 UC4 redwood timber , ticked DO NOT allow substitutions

Sent me C16 UC3U timber, which is not suitable, it is not of the same strength or treatment, its an inferior product that has been substituted even though ive expressly not allowed substitutions. Howarth should not assume to know my structural calculations or use case for the timber

customer service do not answer the phones, first and last time ill use these

Told us it was going to be delivered on the Tuesday and stated we’d be getting a text with times in the morning didn’t receive anything so we gave them a call and they now stated it might come today then said can we do it tomorrow now the next day they say the driver won’t deliver it as it’s 2 hours away after again we called today and they stated it will be delivered today again poor service

I’ve just started using this branch , if this is the standard for the group well done , all the staff super helpful and friendly , also products and pricing great

5* service! Andy from Birghouse has helped me twice now with mini DIY projects and has always been so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend them more, great with price and quick and efficient. Will absolutely be going back for my summer garden project!

Thanks for a great service from Howarth Timber in Burnley. I called yesterday to see if they would deliver to me (I’m not that close by) A quick response from Brandon and my bark chippings arrived today. Great quality.
The weather was extremely hot and I wanted to say a special thanks to Gareth who delivered in extreme heat. He was courteous friendly and very professional.

Ordered. Guy shows up with the goods Friday without notice whilst we're at work. Calls me; tells me to ring his boss to explain we're not in. Boss calls. Asks if he can leave it all in the rain. Begrudgingly agrees to come back Monday. I take day off. He doesn't show. Email the address I ordered online from. They say I have to call the local branch. No further info. Try to call the branch. No answer.

Everything was so easy to do from booking, communication and delivery. A special shout out to Andy who delivered my supplies for going above and beyond. Andy you are a superstar.

Poor customer service, and we only received part of our order, no idea where is the rest is and if we will actually receive it. and they simple do not reply.. shocking.

We ordered our bathroom through Howarth Timber in Grimsby and it was completed a couple of weeks ago and is absolutely perfect. We had help from Kerry to decide on the best layout for the space and she was helpful throughout. She also helped with looking at options and finishing touches to make it all that we wanted. Ordering, delivery and the products themselves are all exactly what you’d expect and all went smoothly. Thank you to Kerry and Howarth Timber in Grimsby for our beautiful bathroom!

I asked to cancel part of the order which still ended up being dispatched. I refused delivery of said items and delivery driver advised it would be refunded the same day. Despite numerous emails I’ve not had a reply or refund in two weeks since delivery.

They did it again !! Thank you.
I placed an order on Saturday morning, they delivered 9.30 Tuesday. The friendly office staff easily sorted my payment problem. Excellent service, thank you

Great service, price and pleased with the timber I purchased. I would highly recommend Haworth Timber at Doncaster, Bentley depot. The guys were very helpful in the shop and in the yard when I went to the depot to decide on what I wanted and the delivery was every bit as good.

I bought 2 bulk bags of stones for my garden. Really quick delivery and placed where I needed them. Couldn’t fault them.

Went to collect some fence planks in Burnley and got seen to straight away and even got help loading up the car.
