Horrible Hotel very bad service
Let me start by saying the hotel is run by a family with a very angry father at the head who was disrespectful to my wife in a horrible way. On our first morning where we had the do not disturb sign on, the maid knocked on the door 3 times asking to clean the room. When we asked for a towel or anything else they acted like we are taking something that does not belong to us. The maid service was below horrible, dust everywhere, towels were simply refolded instead of replaced, dead bugs were not picked up (see images). The weather was extremely cold and we asked that they do not shut off the heater due to the fact that we have a small child. The owner said no problem and shut the heater off every day. Service is optional for this team. We love Italians and Italian food however their restaurant was shameful to the local cuisine. My wife's chicken was dry and when we asked to change it, they cursed us, my wife and I speak several languages and understand Italian. Even the breakfast was basic and cheap compared to our other experiences. Although we are Americans we do understand the language that they used against us with constant insulting comments. There were additional hidden charges as well such as a spa kit that we were not aware cost extra. They gave us a bag for the thermal pool and did not mention the additional cost. When I contested the service and bill the old man yelled at me in front of all the guests lobby. In addition we were overcharged on our hotel bill. I rarely give negative reviews however I think this one deserves my full attention so that others do not land in this sub par facility.
