Fantastic value for money for the report when compared to the surveyor market, and the content and advice I got saved me a ton of money.

Alan Dolan surveyed the house I was viewing. The report was very structured and detailed. It listed out all the potential pitfalls and money traps, which was excellent, because it meant I didn't rush in to buy.

Furthermore, Alan spelled out in detail to me what he thought the potential problem areas that would soak up money were, and he was 100% correct in everything he said.

Alan took the time out to sit down and have a conversation with me and explain everything to me, and his advice helped me make the right decision, which I may not have done without his advice.

I can highly recommend this company, especially if Alan is doing your survey for you. I will definitely use Homecheck any time I'm viewing a property.

Recently got Homecheck to do a pre-purchase survey on a home for us. Report was in-depth and good quality. Called up John on the phone and he was happy to run through the report with me and answer all my questions.

We received a long and in-depth survey report within a few days of the survey being carried out. John the surveyor caught a major issue with the roof which the seller and estate agent weren’t aware of and we were able to get it fixed pre contracts!
He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and even came back to inspect the work done to fix the issue.

He talked us through exactly what had been done, brought us into the attic to see what was happening and gave us lots of advice to make sure that our new roof stayed in top condition.

We were first time buyers and very nervous about being cheated out of a good survey and our money, but Homecheck.ie was really professional and great value.

10/10, would recommend to anyone, especially nervous first time buyers!

Ordered a survey Dec 2022. Did get a very fancy and well presented report for €430 for a 2 bedroom apartment we are intending to purchase. A few days later I walk in the apartment myself to find a puddle of water on the kitchen worktop, all coming through a damp crack in the ceiling. Crack had been identified in the report but assessed as repaired. Tried to contact the MSCSI engineer to understand why this was missed during his visit. No answer to calls + no response to texts. Contacted the person who took my booking at Homecheck hoping to get some explanation, maybe even some apology... 1 month later zero communication back and certainly no goodwill gesture in perspective. Beware of these guys.
