Belinda was very helpful and friendly. Efficient service and warm staff

Jacqueline on the till could see that I had my special needs teenage son with me and that he was not making it easy to ask her about the bogof batteries offer near the till. When I asked for a different size battery and she asked another member of staff to get them for me to save me distressing my son more than he already was and even though it took a couple of mins and I didn’t end up buying them as the AA batteries didn’t have a bogof offer on them, she was patient and understanding throughout his tantrum. Lovely lady and great customer service 👍🏼

My experience is not good ! Took my money. Waited in for delivery 9am to 9pm slot. Nothing ! No communication, no delivery. Customer service closed! Rubbish service!!!!!!

Salesperson in charge of the paint mixing department was very knowledgeable and approachable and gave good advice on sourcing correct paint for external use on my home and saving money thank you

We went into Homebase as we are decorating every room in the house, but were unsure of the colours to use.
We saw Leanne at the decorating hub and she gave us great advice, which included opening two tins so we could see the actual colour of the paint.
I have been back to homebase again today to get more paints and Leanne was again very helpful in tracking down the last tin that we needed, despite it not being readily available on the shelf.
On both occasions we felt she went beyond what we would expect and provided a professional and friendly service.
We will certainly use Homebase again at Ruislip for all our decorating needs.

I had a great time in Home base - had a large selection of garden pots & garden plants.

Also, I met a very friendly cashier named Prelundi, who was very cheerful & we had a lovely chat about roses.

Overall, a very pleasant experience, and a good garden centre.

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Susan Hogan at Homebase, and I must say she was absolutely amazing. We needed to refund eight cylinders, and Susan handled the entire process with remarkable efficiency and professionalism. She took great initiative, ensuring that everything was managed smoothly and without any hassle. Susan processed the refund amount swiftly and accurately with our card. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to help made the experience even more pleasant. Susan's exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude truly stood out. I was disappointed with today’s service as I was kept waiting with no apology. I gave the sales assistant my order number but then she asked me for ID and I noted that other customers were not being asked for ID. Why was I the only one? Note my order was for £50 compost which I would NOT consider high value. In fact I’ve ordered larger amounts and wasn’t required to show my ID

We were very happy as a whole with the staff on the floor - they helped us out in a very friendly manner. However the member of staff at the checkout we found abrupt in her answer to me. I purchased a hozelock free stand reel and asked if someone could connect it for me. Without even asking why I needed this help she just told me NO and this was something that cannot be done. I feel the decency would have been to question why as I could have a disability and would not be able to do it.Bizarrely I had asked the floor staff whilst deciding which one if someone could help me
To connect it and she said yes it may be possible.

It just depends on who you ask and am not putting it down to anything else such as being slightly off with me as I am of Indian origin.

Many thanks to Sally and Eugene for their help with an awkward load. I always shop at the Ruislip store because the staff are very helpful. Good old fashioned service tea does count for something these days.

Eugene and Tina were both really helpful. Tina checked the stock and Eugene went out of his way to measure the patio set to make sure I could get it into my car. He also loaded into the boot for me. First rate customer service. Thank you.
