Jack the,sale,assistant was amazing with his service,as I had a refund firgot receipt and was able to get my daughter to watsap it and it was accepted in store . This is,what you call going out of your way to give no 1 customer experience putting the customer in the heart of everything . Well done Jack youll make a great store manager

Myself and wife have been to the Leicester Freeman Commons store about three or four times in June 2024, wife has recently taken an interest in planting and growing roses. She must have spent over £200 on them at home base alone.

I don't usually write reviews for stores unless we receive exceptional customer service and as you can probably tell we did at this particular store and Pat from the garden centre goes over and beyond in her role. As I said my wife is new to growing sbd planting roses, Pat has been very encouraging and providing pointers. She even took my wife over to the rose feed section asking her to look into the different options available. Other assistants at other stores will simply point her to the direction of where they can be found but Pat took the time to take my wife to the relevant section. I find that Pat takes a real interest in what customers want and will take time to explain and talk to customers which is a real credit to the store.

We went back to buy Vital Organic Rose Food today 30/06/2024 along with two more plants, a rose shrub yellow mix and a pink mix.

Thank you Pat and thank you home base for finding such an exceptional employee.

They were great at helping me. I couldn't collect the order on time so they ensured to hold onto it for me in store. Great customer service 👌🏼

I give homebase a 5 star rating because of there excellent service ie ordered the item and received on next, although the item was faulty I rang the customer service thay arranged collection of the item, collected the next day folled by the next day a replacement

Friendly helpful staff. Quick click and collect delivery. Prompt accepting back of faulty item, awaiting refund. Faulty item has resulted in more costs (labour) than cost of item (paint). This still needs resolving hence not 5 star rating

Just popped into the Leicester store and Harry was really helpful with my compost questions. Took the time to explain the different options and was patient with me. Excellent customer service - thank you.

Struggled with using internet service and did not get my 10/ discount using it for the first time to sign in on the internet.

A pleasant visit to Leicester Homebase today, to purchase a pair of dining chairs. The staff who I encountered during my visit (Lucy and Micaela) were helpful and patient whilst I made my decision. Offering advice and expertise. Thank you Homebase, I will be back soon.

Jay was pleasant and helpful. The cost was very competitive for the lawnmower I bought. Its a friendly and low priced store. I'd definitely recommend it.

Good quick service

Ordered online a lawn mower & a hedge trimmer. Online order was straightforward very easy. When picked up in store the hedge trimmer box was quite battered. No one offered to carry large lawn mower box to the car...it was quite a big box for a small person to carry. Otherwise all was good

I was given the incorrect colour, so returned the the store to exchange for correct multi colour version. The staff were very helpful

I also collected a second order, I was given a very obvious returned item, lack of packaging and remains of click & collect sticker on the box, fortunately I noticed at time of collection. Despite being reassured that faulty item would not be returned to the shelf, I requested a replacement item.

Well we went into the leicester branch and the hover motors had sold out , and because I was going on holiday was worried about the length of grass , the price was £116 for the hover easy glide lawn mower I was realy down , but then looked on the internet the following day and the price had dropped from £116 to £89 couldn’t believe it they had 5 left in stock so quickly orderd it and went down to collect , took a few minutes to get it and skipped out of the store was chuffed to bits with my purchase and the grass is now realy short just before our holidays..

Box was opened and when I asked for replacement I have been told we don't have it in the stock. He also told me that it's when some ones returned we check and pack again. He waa not happy to give me unopened box. Your Website was showing 10 in the stock. When I show it the click and collect sales assistant he kept quit and gave me the replacement. If customer paying full money they should get unopened pack. No sorry or apologies from me the shop .

Rude assistant’s. Was served by Afroditi. Needs training and also the other assistant (she asked the neighbour till for help she was even worse).
