Customer service at collection point was very helpful. I wasn’t very happy that the chairs were covered in what looked like bird poo and was very awkward to clean them when I got home.

We had ordered two large garden planters to pick up. Upon arrival the planters picked were odd/wrong fortunately we found a match ourselves.

This branch was great, really helpful people in the garden section. I ordered a new set of chairs and a table and the person who helped me just couldn’t do enough for me. Thank you.

Easy to order and then collect

I often shop in this shop because I live nearby, every time I go in I find the people working there to be really helpful. I often buy things for my garden and if they are heavy they always offer t carry them out to my car for me.

I popped into the Honiton Branch on the off chance of being able to speak to a member of staff in the kitchen department it was early in morning as I had work to go to that day, I was so delighted to find that there was a designer in store and was available to assist me through my questions. The designers name was Shannon Moore. She was outstanding throughout, I left her with my measurements and some ideas I had for my kitchen explained that I worked around the corner and that emails were the best way of contact for myself as work long days. She emailed me the same day with a couple of design options and the two colours I couldn’t choose between. She never came across as a pushy sales person very happy and welcoming. She was very pleasant throughout! My kitchen is now in and looking amazing I am very with all the service in which I received and even emailed back when out of work hours! Outstanding member of staff to have on the Honiton Team.

Easy to order on-line and ready on a trolley (it was quite a heavy lawnmower) when I arrived at the counter.

Having recently purchased a kitchen from this branch I just wanted to say how very helpful the 2 members of staff were who dealt with me. Nothing was too much trouble. They came out to measure my kitchen as I was unsure how to do it. The staff then sent me a wonderful kitchen design. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Homebase in Honiton is a small store and most of the staff seem really very nice and helpful, but on three occasions we've been served at the click and collect counter now by a really rude middle aged woman who makes you feel like you're a bother for even being there.
There's no smile, no hello or goodbye, just instructions and scowling.
The last time an item was missing from the click and collect order which was discovered when loading the car, so as it was a large order, I took a photo and went back in store to ask about it. On showing the photo she took my phone out of my hand and just wandered off with it, I was flabbergasted! After flicking through photos without asking she called someone to sort it out, passed me my phone back without explanation, she then started serving people leaving us standing there like spare parts.The young lady with long blonde colour hair who fetched the missing item was absolutely lovely and apologised for the error.
I've rarely encountered such awful customer service, and after three repeat occasions I'm certain it wasn't just an off-day it is just the way this person acts and sadly it's really putting us off going there.

Collection ready, took a few moments to find

I bought a kitchen from Homebase in the sale. Jamie McElroy at the Honiton branch worked with me to place the order. He was absolutely amazing he went above and beyond to track down pieces of the kitchen as it wasn’t all in stock and he found everything i needed in other stores and made sure I got them. Customer Service in a lot of companies these days seems to be a rare thing but Jamie had plenty of it. It was a breath of fresh air having good old fashioned service. I can thoroughly recommend ordering a kitchen from him, he took all the worry and hassle away and kept me informed all the way through. Every company needs a Jamie McElroy he is a great asset to Homebase and it should be recognised by the powers that be.
