Excellent service today from Sean & Luke when buying shelves,carrying them to the car.Couldn’t have done more

Excellent service very professional and helpful. Dave went above and beyond to assist us.

Dave was very helpful and supportive with several products in Hexham store. He was also very knowledgeable regarding paint. It was also able to advise on different glosses for a skirting boards and which brush would be the best.

Great service from Dave who advised us on the right lawn mower for our garden.

Fab staff at Hexham today I was helped with RAL Paint mixed, outdoor lights, bulbs and hozelock accessory. Every staff member was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable great!!

Blake, the young man who served me on the till was pleasant and accommodating. I was a difficult customer having decided to buy some bulky items and walk home and we tried to find a bag suitable. I suggested bin bags and despite him not having any he was patient and went and found me some. At no point did he make me feel like I was an inconvenience ( although I'm pretty sure I was) and he was calm, pleasant and easy going throughout the transaction.
Nice young man.

Walked around for 10 mins looking for a staff member - one avoided all eye contact then went into staff area - found one on his way into work - he sent me to a man outside in the doorway, who sent me back in and said he would radio for someone - 5 mins later …. Still no one …. Gave up - will now have to go to another store … only needed a tin of paint mixing

Order ready and lovely lady was very helpful and pleasant.

The product I was looking for was in stock. I had no problem locating where it was in the store. The store itself wasn't too busy and I did not have to queue at the checkout. The checkout assistant was friendly and efficient. All in all a pleasant experience shopping here.

The staff in Hexham are absolutely brilliant. They are helpful and knowledgeable, always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. All makes for an excellent shopping experience

As “non experts” we were wandering around the store, a bit lost for what was needed for our home decorating projects.
I approached a member of staff (“Colin D”) to ask the whereabouts of a certain item (Grey Grout.)
He directed me then in a friendly manner asked my Wife what our purchases were for, as our trolley was loaded up high- A touch of overkill with far too much in it!
He made some suggestions, removed some very high cost items then brought along more affordable products in far lesser quantities.
He asked what else was on our list and sourced them from the shelves.
This was so helpful and also deducted £100 from the total.
We were already loyal customers (in a town with several similar type of stores) and this excellent service was helpful, validating, educational and in no way condescending.
We have an increased sense of trust in our Homebase as a result of this experience.
