Order by click and collect was ready in less than an hour. I was served without delay. First class transaction.

Walked in and straight away one of the guys on the floor asked if he can help me. A French guy called Alain. I was picking up a click and collect order and I was way too early as it usually takes an hour after you order online but he said no problem he'd take care of it right away and he did. Excellent service. Then bought a patio table and chairs and another staff member was right there to help lift it etc. Didn't get his name. Great service. Been to B&Q many times too but always have to hunt down somebody to help or advise and they're hard to track down usually :)

Jamie assisted me with my purchase when I discovered that the chairs which I had bought were too large for my car. As I considered the delivery charge too expensive for the short trip to my home Jamie offered to deliver the chairs. Not only did he deliver them but he positioned them where I wanted. He refused to take any money for this exceptional service. Jamie is a very polite and kind young man who is an asset to Homebase.

Alain went above and beyond when helping us today. He showed us around the outdoor furniture and helped us narrow down our options. His humour made it a lighthearted, enjoyable experience.

When it came to fitting the large set into the car, he made sure that everything fit comfortably.
