Email arrived quickly to say order was ready. Arrived in store and I was served immediately.

Paul is a quality member of staff who has helped me multiple times without hassle, problem or issue. An expert in his craft.

Went in to the Dereham shop today to get some paint mixed for my shed doors. We were served by Paul who double checked the colour/quantity we needed then did the job very quickly. He was very helpful, chatty and friendly and went over the top to make sure we had exactly what we needed. Excellent service from Paul thankyou.

Excellent Customer Service from Angela, very friendly and helpful. Charlie a colleague of Angela’s was also very helpful suggesting a model of oven. Whilst in the store I also observed Charlie assisting another Customer, again in a very helpful manner. All in all a very positive experience, enhanced by Angela & Charlie’s excellent Customer Service 😃

Helpful as always, polite and friendly

I purchased 20 rolls of turf and asked for assistance in loading. Within minutes I had the help I requested from 2 of your employees. They loaded as much as we could take at the time in the car and made it look easy and were so pleasant and friendly to us. We returned for the remainder and were met by the same 2 people who again assisted with smiles and it made us feel we were no trouble to have asked for help. Cannot thank Paul and Mel enough, they are a real credit to homebase.
Also full credit too to Carol for her help with initial order who also is a super employee too.

The person who picked my order picked two pots of 5ltr paint instead of two pots of 7.5 ltr paint, I had specifically ordered it and the only store that had it was in another town so I had to drive there to find out that they may not have my 7.5 ltrs in stock, after a while they found my two pots and everything was ok.

The lady who sorted out the issue was really great, but the anxiety and stress of thinking that I had to leave and drove home without the paint I ordered intense as this was the only day I could pick up the paint from there in the next 5 weeks.

Angela called first thing to explain that the item I ordered was unfortunately unavailable & offered a substitute.
No excuses or flannel just explained the situation honestly which I really appreciated.

Normally helpful friendly staff. This time abrupt and unhelpful.
I have really bad arthritis and suffer from chronic pain. I don't look I'll or disabled but I asked for my order to be put on 2 trolleys and for help taking them to the car. The order was for 200kg of cement so heavy by anyone's ability.
No suitable trolleys available or staff who are able. I ended up struggling myself crashing into a lot of things
I was lucky another customer helped.

Order was filled quickly and cashier was very helpful.

Jessie assisted by, not only mixing paint for us, but noticed that one of the paint colours related to an inappropriate paint type. She took time to help us find something similar in an appropriate type and did it with a smile.

The young man REECE was so helpful when I called yesterday to buy bags of gravel. He is a credit to the East Dereham store.

I got everything I was looking for. Even picked up a bargain offer or two. My visit ended up with a pleasant greeting from Jessie who offered to help if I needed anything else.

It was a big order and a kind gentleman helped me take it to the car and load it
