Very helpful member of team mixed lots of paint for me with empathy and good humour.

Jan Gardiner was brilliant at every stage, from initially visiting to measure to design planning ordering and delivery

Our kitchen build was a tricky one as we were using some of the existing kitchen and complimenting it with new.

Jan supported us throughout the process and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Jan and Homebase if you’re looking for a new kitchen.

The lovely guy who served me today was a absolute star made searching what i need 100% easier and made my shopping experience outstanding i will be coming to homebase again

Absolutely disgusted with the way me and my husband was treated in the Cheltenham store today!
After a 'window shop' on Friday 24th I found a bargain to be had as advertised in store on a cube unit. After some deliberation and talks with my husband we decided on purchasing this said deal the following day.
Once we got the purchase to the checkout we were told the total of £104 regardless of the £60 price tag as advertised ON the cube unit!
After arguing the fact with the young lady on the checkout she then told us the £60 was per box (it came as 2 boxes) which I quickly pointed out that this was impossible as they scanned at £54. She then continued to tell us the £60 advertised was for the display unit only so I continued that I will have that one then. With the young lady then not knowing what to do with this information we decided to then put the boxes back and leave the store
After consulting advice with friends and family we are now realizing that the offer should be valid and honored in store as advertised! I would like this complaint looked into and a response sent as this is really bad practice of a store and relevant training and offers should be known by colleagues of the store.
I have filled in a contact us page along with the pictures to show what was advertised! I will be seeking advise to take this further due to the disappointment I felt in store and embarrassment at the desk being made to feel wrong and stupid!

The click and collect process was nice and straightforward. Item was delivered to my chosen store. The coat rack shelf is very nice, good quality and sturdy. My only reservation is that two labels were stapled to the back of the shelf with six staples, which were very difficult to remove. I had to remove part of the staple and then knock the remaining pieces flat into the wood, to avoid damaging the wood.

Great friendly staff. Perfect. The man on the till on the way out said hello too.. Brilliant.

Bought 3 bags of compost, westland with John Innes. All 3 bags were broken and put in a thin plastic bag that didn't hold and were broken. Compost were soaked and spilled everywhere in my car. Nightmares!

Lewis (Cheltenham store) assisted with a faulty lawnmower and went out of his way to help me with a tricky situation. Greatly appreciated

Quick and easy service

Ordered on line click and collect. When I picked up the black and decker workmate it was brought out of the storeroom and the box was soaking wet 'because of a leak in the roof'. There was no alternative on the shelf but fortunately the contents weren't damaged. Get to grips Homebase!!. You obviously know about the leak yet you store ordered goods where they'll get wet. I am normally impressed with Homebase but not on this occasion.

The actual delivery and online service of the chair was great - help at store was non existent

Nobody at customer services so I pressed the buzzer for help. A recording informed me that colleagues knew I was waiting. Nobody came. In the end a member of staff on the shop floor asked what I was waiting for. I explained and he went to fetch the order. This is only the second order placed via click & collect and both times the wrong items have arrived. I will never use Homebase again.

Made a selection of paint from the Laura Ashley range and went down to Cheltenham Tewkesbury Road HomeBase to pick up the right size can. Couldn’t find it anywhere and then fortunately for me Rich at the Paint Desk came to help. Nothing was too much trouble and after 20 minutes of searching shelves, stock and going online, any size bigger than the test pot was coming up as unavailable. Rich then suggested that if we were really hung up on the colour (which I was) then he could take a scan of the sample on the colour board to then make it up as close a match as possible using the Dulux Colour Match process. It was brilliant service, secured a sale for HomeBase, solved my problem and all due to the ingenuity and superb/dogged customer service from Rich - he is a credit to the Company and took time to listen and understand my predicament before coming up with a solution. Thank you Rich and HomeBase.

Two girls in garden furniture Toni & Ellie were very helpful & knowledgeable about the products. They helped us choose the right table & chairs for our needs. Ellie Church’s name is on receipt but both girls helped enormously & we bought a cover for our new furniture as well. Thank you ladies for your help much appreciated. 😊

Click and collect ok , when offers are on , there is no warning of end date, for example I looked online and saw 1 day ago 20% off really useful boxes went in to buy 15 but found the offer was withdrawn yesterday. So I onl bought x7 with being a new customer buying online and as a one off 10% given, still it was disappointing. However staff were ok and I was soon having to go and collect after buying on line. I have a trade discount card with Wickes so most of my purchases will be with them , perhaps so the head office of Homebase should consider.
