Want to say a huge thank you to the team at Bromsgrove Homebase - specifically Jake - who helped me when my trolley broke and then went above and beyond by helping to through checkout, waiting with my stuff whilst I got my car and then loaded it all in for me. Great service, found what I wanted

I am a disabled man, and needed a couple of bags of compost, of which I wouldn’t be able to do myself.
The lovely young man (226997) served me, and served, took payment, and took it and packed it in my car for me.
I found this very kind and helpful, and goes along way for me. I will certainly be shopping there again.

We ordered some paving slabs 3 weeks ago. We paid and was then informed the slabs were out of stock and we'd be emailed/phoned to let us know when they back in stock. Still heard nothing. 2 phone calls to customer service who promised to phone or email us back to let us know what was going on and still nothing. Really really unimpressed.

I am elderly and wanted a specific sort of paint which I couldn’t find. I asked a lady called Naomi in the Bromsgrove branch. She was so friendly and helpful and did everything she could to find the paint and try and get me another tin. She went far beyond what I expected and I was extremely grateful. She is a great asset to your company and deserves recognition.

We saw this outdoor furniture set in our local store, we asked if the L-shape sofa was reversible (i.e. alternate the long and short sides) and were told it was. We ordered online because the store had no stock. When the sofa set came we found that it wasn't reversible, very disappointed. Also a number of the metal parts are scratched. One of the bolt-on legs could not be attached as the holes for the bolts were either too big or had been threaded during manufacture.

It's a nice furniture set and the delivery team were great. The box is massive! It had to be passed over our fence there's no way that thing is going to fit through any normal size house so be prepared to unpack it in the street if you need to.

Since my original review Homebase have been in touch and been super helpful with the issues we've had, would use them again for sure.

Sunil was very kind & polite, the customer in front of me was being incredibly rude to him for no reason but he maintained his composure. An asset to your team.

It was the helpful assistants that made a real difference to my visit. Especially Debbie. I also appreciated the healthy looking plants that were clearly being well looked after

Click and collected a wheel barrow and it was in a very poor state, damaged and rusty. Got a full refund but still; very poor to sell search poor quality products as new, and waste my time driving out to collect it only to find it is of no use. 75 pounds for rusty old barrow I could have got off Facebook marketplace for a fiver!

The young man in the garden centre was very helpful in putting compost into my trolley and then my car. He is an asset to Homebase Bromsgrove!

The Bromsgrove Team held my order for an extra day and then were super helpful with loading my garden splurge of decorative stones.
