Was pleasantly surprised with he customer service today as I normally find the lack of knowledge and customer focus poor at my local Homebase but the lady today called "MAL" (I think) was very good, very helpful and even saved me some money.

Ordered, chose delivery day. Great that item was delivered on time. No waiting around.

Went to collect a click and collect order and realised I didn't like wallpaper. I wanted to return it and Gina who was serving on the till was very helpful as I am not very technical. She helped me process it in between serving customers.

Staff were very helpful when I wanted additional items to what I had ordered on click and collect.

However after my son Took several hours to put together with his friend. one off the utensils hooks had come off and couldn’t be put back on, bit to late to put back In the box’s as taken
Them so long to put together so at that point and I’d promised a bbq for tea and it went ahead at 8.30 pm !!!

Collected what I thought I had ordered namely 2 dusk till dawn outdoor lights and when the electrician came to fit them he advised me that only one was dusk till dawn and the other one was not. I had to make a return journey to swap for correct light which resulted in an additional charge from electrician of £40 to visit house to fit correct light.

Very polite and friendly, helpful staff. Order was ready to collect straight away using click n collect online. Very efficient service received. More than happy with my order.
