I visited today with 2, three year old children, we came shopping for plant bulbs, which we found straight away. We had a wander round the shop, children looking at all sorts of things. The younger man outside was really helpful with the reduced plants I wanted and answered my random questions about other plants. The children absolutely loved the Halloween display, the shop was quiet and Sharon encouraged them and pointed out other parts of the display, she took the time to show them the talking witches hat, which they loved. A lovely experience, great to be made to feel so welcome, especially with young children.

Terrible service, 1st order arrived two weeks ago, items were damaged. Confirmation of 2nd order today, click and collect, called into branch to collect to be told they tried ringing me, no missed calls on my phone. Not all items available can’t get them for a few weeks, can’t do a stock transfer within the region In a nut shell, I’ll shop elsewhere

Justin & Amilah helped with loading the car up with bargain clearance pots this week, having pointed us in their direction on arrival. Thanks

I don't normally write reviews but I thought I had to today. I popped into my local Homebase store today. I was looking to purchase some plants for the garden. I was met by a member of staff named Salim. He was very helpful & polite. He also had great knowledge of plants. Definitely be back, well done Homebase.

Ordered, paid for, collected after message in an hour as promised. All good!

There were lots of helpful staff and they chatted to each other with kindness and respect.

Gulam is a very helpful individual at the cash desk and always very reliable.

Gulam was extremely helpful in directing us to the paintbrush set, saving us valuable time. He also pointed out a bargain, which helped us save money. We truly appreciated his assistance.

Popped in to buy some shelves and paint materials. Was served by Sharon who was friendly and provided great service. Use this Homebase a few times and always find her service is consistently excellent.

The person bringing my item to the front counter dropped it off the trolley. I asked if it was OK & he said it was fine. Got it home & it was terribly damaged. Not just from the drop but clearly had had something dropped on it at some point. On returning the first colleague I spoke to was *very* doubtful that it was damaged on collection (I brought it back immediately). The lady who had seen the drop was very kind & patient though did a refund rather than offer to find me a new item. She then told me to go & get my own new item from the shelves (a large, heavy box) rather than getting a staff member to help. All.sorted in the end & new item wasn't damaged. They shouldn't have brought the other item in the first place, the box was obviously dented in several places.

The ease of the collection. The staff were also very polite and extremely helpful. Amazing customer service! I've unfortunately lost the card they gave me for feedback with their names on. I think the woman's name was Sharon and the male, I believe also began with am S. I do apologise, but they were both fantastic. Thank you.

I was pleased that the item I wanted was in stock at the store local to me.The Click and Collect service is handy because you can be sure what you want is in stock and ready for collection,no wasted journey.The staff were pleasant and polite asking if we needed help finding what we were looking for when we were browsing before making our collection which was also by a pleasant and polite member of staff.

I recently purchased a bbq from the kings heath branch, it's not my local store I fact I travelled 20 miles to get my product as it was the only store that had the model. I couldn't get it locally for some reason nor could reserve it on click and collect, so I phoned the store and spoke with " jenny" who did a physical check then left instructions for the day staff to save me one. The next day I travelled to the store, spoke to an assistant who was aware of my request, and she said that "Salim" was the only one who could operate the fork lift truck was on his lunch break....but when asked he left his lunch and got my item from the cage having paid for it he helped me load it into my car, before returning to finish his break. Absolutely brilliant, customer service above and beyond by all involved. The store manger needs to pat them on the back..why oh why can't more stores employ people with this attitude and pride in what they do.
An extremely satisfied customer...go kings heath your the best.
