Really excellent Customer Service from Paul and Jayne at Berwick-upon-Tweed Homebase this evening.
Both incredibly helpful and friendly, and Paul went above and beyond to help me load a set of garden furniture into my car. Many thanks to both of them

I have been using this branch for over 26 years now and can safely say that for the things I need- they are hard to beat on price and availability.

Called in to buy a bird-bath - you don't sell them?? Ended up buying plants, which I generally seem unable to walk out the store without purchasing a plant or two! Was served by Mary on the till, always helpful and never makes you feel rushed.
Yes, you need to get some bird-baths in - seems a simple enough thing given all the other garden bits you sell....

Was served by the most helpful lady today called Mary in Berwick upon tweed I couldn’t find what I was looking for she knew just where it was and went to get it. I wish all staff in shops were as helpful. Service with a smile goes a long way

Ordered panel and paid for it online but when I arrived to collect it, it was damaged. There was another one but that was damaged also and as the store was 25 miles from home I had little choice other than to take the less damaged of the two in stock. Had the damage been pointed out at purchase I would have bought elsewhere.

Impressive plant and outside area - in so many DIY stores this is often a forgotten part of the store with tatty displays and tired looking plants and shrubs. At the Berwick store the displays are attractive, logical and always well maintained, it gives you confidence that the plants will survive! Having checked at the desk, it turns out this is due to the efforts of Kerry and Jayne. Well done, I hope your manager realises that you are adding value to the outside area.

Janey for going beyond the call of duty by explaining how to fit a slow closing toilet seat. She also drew us a diagram. Very easy to follow.
Paul and Nichola for persevering with my paint mixing demands, and the lovely girl at the desk whose name I didn’t get who pointed out the 50% saving on the second tin of paint. Outstanding people. Thank you.
