Quick and efficient service from Homebase, very happy.

On collecting, there had been an issue, where by the actual item was not in stock. I was given some options; a refund, an alternative item of similar but different price range, reorder me the correct item from warehouse and have it delivered to my home address which I have accepted. Hopefully the correct one arrives! They dealt with it really well actually and I felt that the shop assistant was really professional and helpful.

We went today to buy a gazebo, June was at the till and was extremely helpful she shared us the product and explained all the details, she was friendly and professional and at the till Sally was also very friendly and helped in the check out, the whole process was smooth and straight forward, we highly recommend shopping at Altrincham branch, thank you June and Sally

So I order laminate flooring online for click & collect but when I got into store I changed my mind on the colour I'd chosen & brand.
I actually preferred a darker but cheaper wood. We went to customer service desk. Sally came to my rescue.
I explained I'd ordered online received 15% off buying 4 packs or more & a further 10% off for signing upto Homebase website subscription.
I'd of expected to be told I needed to cancel/ return my order & to place 2nd order. Which would have meant missing out on my extra 10% discount. Also waiting many days for my refund to be returned

However Sally knew exactly what to do. Did not have a problem not only exchanging my flooring but putting my refund back on to my card. Sally was very happy to assist me. I kept apologising for my indecisiveness & to my mum. I actually felt foolish for even asking to swap the flooring on collection. Sally went the extra mile. Sorted it out witha a smile not a grimace. Thank you very much Sally. Fabulous job you do. Simply must say.

Fast and efficient service easy order and collect

My order came very quickly

Messed up my online order. I ordered AND paid for delivery to my home yet from 4 items one was delivered ( wallpaper paste £4.75)..but the bigger items were listed as Collect only. I spent 2 hour round trip plus nearly 38 miles to collect today because the Online Order team would not refund my delivery charge of £6 so had to collect.
So essentially I paid £10.75 for delivery of a wallpaper paste I could have bought in my local diy store for £4! Amazing. 1st and last experience using Homebase.
To add to the hassle...i rang the store Click/Collect number on sunday to change the listed wrong order, who then told me to ring the store customer services on monday since he couldn't change the online order, then the store CS person passed me to the store manager who then told me to ring the Online Team people since only they could change my order.
1st and last time using Homebase.

Update- July 5th. Homebase have now refunded the£6 delivery charge, following this Trustpilot review.

Staff were very helpful, sorted a defect on a strimmer still under warranty. Homebase Altrincham was the store, Sally very helpful and was patient attempting to keep me updated by voicemail whilst I was on holiday.

As always Homebase staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provide an efficient and professional service, listening to customers queries and giving excellent advice.
Matt was very knowledgeable and his customer service was excellent.

Ordered 2x 7.5 litre matt emulsion on line , was ready to collect 15 minutes was a good price buy 1 2nd half price

I called into the Altrincham store today, and was helped by a lovely lady called June.
I had no idea what paint I needed and she gave me all the help and advice I needed.
The cashier Liam was also very friendly and chatty.
I would definitely return to this store and recommend to others after my experience today.

My storage box was delivered on time , by 2 friendly guys.

Really excellent service. The Customer Service team were so helpful & polite. They got a flat bed trolley for me as none were available when I arrived at the store. I had brilliant help getting the very large box into my little car. The staff were amazing. Thank you all.

Your employee Sally was very helpful and pleasant. We had received an online order that arrived damaged so we ordered the same item "click and collect" at the Altrincham store. We took the damaged item there for a refund. It's so nice these days to receive such good customer service.

No fuss, ordered from abroad , and delivered the next day.

I went in look for a turquoise paint for my sons room but they didn't have the colour we wanted,Julie went above and beyond for us both found the perfect colour, let my son help mix it and was just generally an amazing help and lady, such a credit to your store
