Not had a pie for a long time due to health reasons. But I've always bought Holland's Meat also their Meat & Potato so bought a packet of 4 meat & potato not realising the name was changed to potato & meat i find them now that disgusting they've gone into my food waste bin just hoping the meat ones I've bought will be okay. I used to work at Holland's pies in the late 60' early 70's and was always my go to pies but not now. 😡😡 DISGUSTING

Quality has declined badly. I grew up in Baxenden and have eaten more than my share of their pies over the years. Bought a meat and potato pie today and half the potato cubes inside were undercooked. This isn't the first time recently, but it will be the last unfortunately.

This brand has gone to the dogs. In fact I wouldn't feed their meat pie or meat and potato pie to the dog. Meat pie first, dry thick pastry with a small blob of meat with no juice whatsoever. Meat and potato pie, just a few pieces of hard potato with a slop consisting of very little meat. Another great Lancashire brand going down the swanny. Won't waste myoney on another pie unless things improve quickly.

Hollands pies a d steak puddings have really gone downhill, last pack of steak puddings I bought were very small and contained only 4 small pieces of meat .

Hollands Pies "quality"? AWFUL.
Hollands meat pies used to be very tasty and contain juices, now they are dry with a little blob of "meat" in the middle, awful.
The extortionate price does not reflect the "quality".
Never buy again.👎

I always enjoyed the pastry on a meat…
I always enjoyed the pastry on a meat pie, but lately it is horrible, and the pies look like they have been rolled round the floor with black bits on them. Someone’s idea to change things, but not for the better. I thought i had just got a bad batch so bought another patch from a different supermarket, unfortunately just as bad. Waste of my money, not happy.

Holland pies have changed for the worse, just had a meat and potato and the pastry was terrible, it was almost burnt and very thick, I’ve never seen that in all the years, I’m done with them.

Meat pies
Meat pies, potato and meat pies, steak pies all from farm foods.
I’m 68 years old and have eaten Holland’s for donkeys years. The pies are nothing like they used to be, no juice, weird pastry, filling is a mushy mess what’s there. Go back to the old recipes and sizes and charge us the appropriate prices for a quality product you used to serve up.

OMG JUST MICROWAVE THEIR STEAK PIE, I noticed straight away the middle going flat! The bloody pie was Empty, just tainted around the sides with brown gravy looking stuff, Absolutely Disgusting, it was all Pastry.
Bought from a shite Tesco express, AND JUST READ ALL THEIR HORRENDOUS Reviews , HAVE THEY NOT LEARNED A THING FROM THESE REVIEWS.

This is NOT food.
Thankfully it appears that trustpilot users are giving this product a fair review. Unlike other site which rate anything above 1*. And honestly it doesn’t even deserve that.
I wouldn’t even feed these to my dogs. They are not food. And whoever thinks that steaming them is a good idea is taking far too many drugs.

Worst pies on the market
Very poor quality filling is like they have scraped bits up off the floor.
The meat and potatoe is like slop and very little meat.
Steak mostly fat gristle and gravy everything is so bland I don't know who owns Hollands but they really need to up their standards or shut down completely.

Bought a single meat and veg pastie thought it was quite nice so decided to buy the 3 pack, thought I’d be getting 3 regular sized pasties, nope you get 3 minuscule pasties. Total rip off, won’t buy again

Don't waste your money
I bought 4 steak and kidney pies only one had meat in it the other 3 were just pastry and gravy,I would not buy again, Holland's pies used to be the best.

Tasteless meat and potato family size pie. Admittedly not had any Hollands products for a while but this offering did not warrant the description as a pie. Very little filling and undercooked pastry.

What has happened to Hollands pies .. I’ll never buy them again . Not fit for human consumption . Even the dog won’t eat them .They need a new quality assurance team as the one they have needs to be gone .
