i went to the preston store ordered the items i wanted the member of staff was very friendly and helpful the items came very quickly and i was informed of their arrival so a very good service

HMV Site/Store a great place to find Bargain Music CD's & Blu-Ray/DVDs Films
I find HMV website is easy to use to find good bargains like Music CD's, Movies on Blu-Ray/DVDs' If your like me into collecting physical music and films, they have a honest price on postage and don't rip you off like other sites.

Click and collect order, took 5 days.
Ordered a turntable for click and collect to a store that already had the item in stock. I did not realise that by ordering through click and collect the item HAS to be delivered from the warehouse and if you want it from the store you must use Ring and Reserve, not an online service. Order was stuck on payment accepted for 4 days with no communication about what was happening with the order until it was finally dispatched. Only took a day to be dispatched to store which was a nice change. Went in to store and collected with ease. While it did arrive in the 2-5 day time frame a bit more information could have been provided on what was happening before the order got dispatched.

Customer service was excellent , I was unable to find
the record I was looking for, the assistant was very helpful, ordering the product in for me . Product arrived promptly.

Awful misleading staff when ordering in…
Awful misleading staff when ordering in store - was led to believe item I wanted was available - just that the size was not at the store - waited over a week for any correspondence and even then HMV could not advise a dispatch date citing excuses which other retailers would be ashamed to give
Update: after getting a response on trustpilot (not in response to the request made on the HMV website made beforehand) still waiting to hear anything even after following the request from HMV to get in touch. Also tried to call but the only number available has a recording indicating the phone system is down for maintenance?? Will have to go into store to resolve in person……shouldn’t be this hard!!!

I find the staff at the Preston store very helpful and friendly, very efficient and if your looking for something and can't find it or it's out of stock they will go onto there hmv site and try to find it or order it for you.
