what can i say! I certainly wasn't expecting the speed , professionalism and thought that I recieved when Nathan took my call. I was very particular about the colour I wanted and yes its fairly rare , match that with the trim spec and mileage no chance ! Nathan call me within an hour and told me he had found one .I was lost for words , he talked and messaged me every step and every day , once i arrived at the peterborough showroom , offered a coffee sat down with Matt who went through all the final checks and paperwork and I headed home with my dream car , I cannot thank Nathan enough for everything ! You found what I thought couldn't, appreciate it tons

I will say the service at the beginning was great and when i wasnt happy with the car they offered to change this. However upon taking delivery of that car it was identified there was issues. The drivers door knocking, boot not aligned, repainter bodywork with sanding marks, corroded disks and after getting a check on the car was identified previous damage. As a result of this i used the return procedure and decided to buy locally as the savings from buying from Hippp were not worth it. What should be a straight forward process is turning into a daily chasing from me to get a response and when i do speak with someone they dont give you answers and tell you hopefully the team will be in touch. The team being the cancellations team, worrying if they are so busy they cant respond to you. I even offered to return the car myself in order to get my money back and close this issue out quicker. It feels like the customer experience team are not genuinely interested.

We arranged to pick our car up on Tuesday morning at 11.00 but had to wait over 2 hours as it wasn't ready Finally sat down with the salesman who was-quite rude when I said could I pay with my card as I don't do Internet banking, my choice . He said twice well why dont
you do Internet banking then came back with a card machine when I asked for a manager . He kept saying I just want to go for my dinner !! Well we were hungry and thirsty too after waiting so long . We spent £23 ,000 on a car and we're treated like that not good customer service . We noticed alot of road noise so took it to national tyres today and the man said the 2 front tyres were very cheap unbranded budget tyres not what you expect on a Mercedes so now we've got to buy 2 new ones at a cost of £400 !! I will never deal with this company again worst experience ever

Excellent Customer Service
Very friendly and helpful dealing with customers. Warner Scholtz sorted me out with the right deal and helped me get the vehicle I wanted. Very good customer service, keep it up. I would highly recommend anyone to deal with him when purchasing a vehicle.

Shocking experience
Hippo Peterborough. Shocking experience. I identified a car which met with my needs, Initial communication was good and even received a video albeit avoiding showing the damage to alloys, internal trim, boot and serious bonnet chips, 3 different tyre makes etc which became apparent during my physical inspection. Prior to inspection of the car I received no replies to requests for information re chips, scratches, dents to body work, trim or wheels. I paid the £99 reservation fee and having traveled to view the car, as mentioned above it was clearly badly mistreated by the previous company owners, the Salesman played issues down and had every excuse in the book for the reasons the car was in this condition. I was annoyed having travelled some distance to view the car, that its issues were not in the description or mentioned in a reply e mail etc. I raised these concerns and was made to feel my expectations of a 2yr old car having done 16K miles were unrealistic and its condition might be acceptable to others. I now know why the car hasn’t sold and it’s been on their books for so long. I would avoid Hippo and recommend greater honesty in representation cars condition. I still await my £99 “fully refundable” reservation fee.
