Hertz always treats me like a valued customer. They go above and beyond, to make sure everything is perfect. The last rental I had was with an agent named Tim in Yuma, AZ. He truly cared and it showed. Hertz is the only rental car place I will use.A+

Too many dog hair
The vehicle was ok, comfortable for me, my wife, and our two kids. Both car seat, and booster seat were comfortable, yet I had a few doubts on the effectiveness of the car seat which was concerning a bit safety-wise.
Unfortunately, the vehicle was full of dog hair. Hertz gave me a car, knowing that I would have had two kids as passengers, full of dog hair, hence neglecting entirely the possible basic hygiene and health implications.
Allergic reactions or pests that can run with dog hair are a serious hazard, which might be taken even more serious if kids are involved.
Fortunately our kids did not experience any issues.

Poor service
My flight was slightly delayed (<1hour), which I recieved multiple texts stating that would be fine. Once in the rental car area, I looked for my name on the screen since I am a Gold member and couldn't locate it. Went into the Gold member customer service area, was told very rudely "you got here late so you have to go upstairs". Upstairs was able to locate the rental car but did not offer me a "no coverage" option while going over the options available. Super disappointed and I do not see a reason to be a "Gold Member" when you have to go to the main service desk to actually get service.

Best customer service that I have received from rental company in while. Everything was explained, agent went over details and had me on my way within reasonable time. Will definitely be back! Already have a couple of reservations booked for my upcoming trips.
