Easy pick up
Easy pick up, great customer service, but these employees should have information about open gas stations on the return. Hertz was wonderful at accommodating after the fact, but my wife and I drove around for 20 min looking for a gas station near the airport, two were closed for construction and 3 were just not open at 6am. This is invaluable information for the customer

I don't recall his name
I don't recall his name, the Hertz rep at the rental counter at Traverse City airport at ~15:00 on Sunday 30 September, who acknowledged my President's level and was able to accommodate my request for a vehicle with a hatchback (which facilitates my business use of the vehicle) even though I'm required to rent at the lowest level of vehicle (class C or D) - the Gold Board system Hertz uses has been very advantageous for me, and though that site didn't have one, the rep treated me equivalently - glad to have had that hatchback vehicle for this work trip.

Our car wasn’t ready when we arrived
Our car wasn’t ready when we arrived. Agents said it would be about an hour until they had a car, however, within 15 minutes they found one.
That has only happened to me a handful of times since renting from Hertz these past many years.

Easy check in
The check in process was smooth. The car we got was not in the best condition. I had picked an economy car but since it was Hertz, I expected the car to be in tip top shape. When we reached the airport to drop off the car early in the morning, the counter was closed. However we just filled a form and dropped off the key in the dropbox. It was an easy process.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff!!!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, you just walk straight outside from baggage claim to parking lot where cars are located. The Hertz desk is right at baggage claim. They don’t have Gold service but there wasn’t a wait at the desk for either our arrival or drop off.
