We had a problem with the car on the second day. The dashboard indicated a problem and said to see the Toyota dealer immediately. We returned to the rental site with the car and were told by the asst mgr to wait while he assessed the problem. We waited 20 to 30 minutes after which we were informed that the warning was for low tire pressure which he had corrected. After some hesitation,he issued a credit for future rentals.
When we returned the car we dealt with the same agent (Jerry) as we had when we first arrived. He was, in sum, very apologetic for the trouble and issued a $50 credit against the invoice. He restored my faith in Hertz.

Everything with the rental went well.

I had a late flight coming in, was exhausted, and still had an hour's drive ahead of me. The young lady at the Hertz counter was incredibly friendly, had everything ready to go, and my car was parked just a short walk from the door.

One thing I really appreciated about this smaller airport was the simplicity. No parking garages or confusing rental car returns. Just pull into the lot, park, and you're done. So refreshing!

The entire experience was incredibly smooth and easy. I have to say, this experience genuinely changed my opinion of renting from Hertz. Fantastic customer service and an overall great experience!

Administratively all was more than good. However the assigned unit tires were out of balance making ride quite uncomfortable. Needs maintenance before renting to another

Check out was easy. Disappointed when we changed drivers at pickup that we were not advised there would be a charge to add the driver. We would not have added had we known.

Good car. Quick service

When we picked up the vehicle, the fuel tank was only about 1/2 full. We took a picture of it and went back in to talk with the agent. He said he would note it on the contract. We were charged a fuel charge and it took quite a process to get it corrected.

Convenient and friendly from a renting process perspective. Vehicle itself was top notch. Very roomy and comfortable.

Jeffrey, who checked me in was very thorough and professional as well as being very personable. He provided me with a lot of useful information regarding my destination, car return and other details.

In November we are flying into Columbia, Mo and I wish Hertz had an airport location there, I would definity use the again

Car I requested wasn’t available. Car that was offered to me was rudely taken back by the manager. Who said that when questioned they had to keep the cars for other customers. I thought I was a customer? Then the car front windshield was filthy and streaked. The back window had a smoking film on it that hadn’t been cleaned since last rental. Then I paid for the rental upfront and part of it was refunded and I had to put $700 on my card when I picked it up. This wasn’t explained when purchased.

Too many hidden fees. I was charged late fee. The counter person in Springfield, did not even check me in. He just said put the keys in the box. No receipt. He did not even take the mileage that I wrote down or the notation that I filled up the tank. The charges were not transparent or correct.
Very disappointed in the extra $100 plus charges. Never again!!!
