Hertz let me down this time
I exclusively rent with Hertz. That being said, I also exclusively used the airport lot. They were sold out of cars for the week that I needed it so I went with the location at La Meridian hotel because they had one available. The customer service agents were extremely kind, professional, and I have no complaints at all with the service. What I have a complaint about is the condition of the vehicle that I rented. I had planned to rent it for a week and took it back the following day because it was so dirty I didn’t want to drive it. I keep my personal vehicle cleaner than that car was. I understand they don’t have a car wash on site there, but they do need to take the cars and clean them, especially the inside. The purpose of the rental was to be able to drop my car off at the shop and go car shopping for a new one. I did not contact Hertz about the condition of the car. I did take pictures and I will contact their customer support when I have a day off of work.
