The staff is very professionell

I booked my rental through AAA to obtain a discount.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle because I didn't have my AAA card with me, my discount wasn't applied. Even though all information was entered in the system. When I returned the vehicle an attempt was made to honor the discount. Although the discount was eventually applied, after corrections on the stated price. it was a hassle that wasn't needed and a time consuming inconvenience.

Friendly staff. Ease of the acquiring of the rental and even easier was the return.

The car was ok but although they dumped a ton of air freshener in the car it still smelled bad in the am. The car was cleaned before I got in it but the windshield was smeared and the rear window was so bad I had to stop and by some window cleaner. The Hertz office itself was a mess. I've seen auto mechanics with cleaner lobbies and shops. I am guessing no one from management has visited this turd of an office in a few years.

I was charged an extra 106 for an extra 8 hours for no reason. First and last time I will ever use Hertz

My car broke down in a different state and I needed to rent a car to get home. That part went OK but there was some uncertainty with the length of time repairs were going to take so I tried for almost three hours to talk with someone about turning it into a different location rather than continue to pay for a rental I didn't need (I was back home with other cars). It was extremely difficult to connect with a real person and the recording kept telling me to go on line but you cannot change your drop off location on line. I know there is usually a fee for changing drop off locations but I wanted to know how much before I dropped it off. Eventually I reached to agent at the location where I rented the car and was told I had to drop it off before they could tell me how much it would cost to change drop off locations?????????????????? He was very polite but could not tell me how much it would be. The problem was not the Hertz rental location in Parkville, MD but the HERTZ company in total that could not be reached when I needed them!!!!!!
