Amazing amazing

I had to update my rental two different times (extend it two weeks, return it a couple days early) and the staff made it seamless and we accommodating. Everything was very quick!

Location is great, it's in a little plaza and near another plaza so there's coffee and groceries and food within a 3min walk. There is also a gas station basically across the street so you can refill before dropping the rental back off. The car I got was upgraded due to what was in stock so I went for a sedan and got a mid-sized SVU that was super clean and in excellent shape. The service was stellar.

The office itself could use a little updating, it looks like a college boy decorated it, meaning it's lacking furniture and any decor, the couple chairs are eh, but otherwise very great experience and will rent from this location again!

I went to rent a car for work. A car wasn’t ready. I had to wait and that was okay but I had to eirk late and sit in 1 1/2 traffic because of it . What really got me is I returned the car and she took her time walking around the vehicle and was helping a customer which is fine but try and have customer service. I had to wait for approximately 15 minutes and th we n wait while she took approximately 10 pictures. I had someone waiting for me and lost another hour of work. Then she gave me a late charge for returning the car. After I didn’t pick the vehicle up at 8:22 am as it said. She may have checked more in at 8:22 ., but I definitely didn’t leave by then. That really made me more mad that she lied about it. I go into AVIS I leave within 5 minutes, drop off takes approximately 2 minutes. I will never rent through Hertz again.

This location is extremely slow. I was there to return my rental and waiting in line for half an hour is not acceptable. There were 2 clerks and 4 of us total in the office. Two were at the desk being helped, while 2 of us were waiting. All of us were talking about how slow they were and expressed our opinion on never renting from that location again.

Hertz Lakewood is my go-to location for car rentals. This particular experience was one of the easiest I have had. I had a rental for 11am on a Tuesday. I was greeted immediately upon entering and waved over to one of the available agents. I provided my information, I was able to add an extra day to my rental, and had keys in hand in less than 10 minutes total. The return was just as quick. They took my keys, did a quick check of the car, and within 3 minutes, I was out the door with my receipt. Very fast and friendly service.

Both representatives during pickup and drop-off offered amazing customer service! They made the rental process hassle free and it was honestly very easy going for my first time renting a vehicle. I will mention that it is important to call ahead and check inventory to make sure they have the vehicle type you need. Thanks again!
