The lady at the front desk was so nice with me. and the process was very well

Honestly it's the people behind the desk that made the experience great the office I was at was way too small way too crowded they handle each person respectfully and quickly as they possibly could and got us moving in and out. I should also mention that I did book this particular car online and quite honestly I expected the price to jump up to something ridiculous when I got to the store but it was the same price I had booked online there is no surprise fees the only reason why the car did go up is because I personally requested full coverage Insurance not because they try to upsell me.

Waited 40 min at front desk while 1-2 staff helped customers and the manager and others had pizza delivered to break room and sat. All while I’m getting Hertz notifications that I’m late but you’re considerate enough to hold my reservation. Recreational vehicle we reserved and paid for in advance of that day unavailable. Manager had one but said it was spoken for although no one else there. Gave us a Kia mini-van, which as you can imagine doesn’t quite allow the same flexibility as a recreational vehicle in the Colorado Rockies. Definitely didn’t get a credit for a vehicle downgrade though. Called customer service after I left and was told by taking the mini-van (my family was literally stranded I’m not sure what options we had) I “accepted” the rental so they wouldn’t give me a credit or refund. Never, ever again will I walk in one of your locations or rent a car from your company in any capacity.

First time and will be last time I reserved a "Manager Special" car, and turned out it is a RAM truck for that day!! I am a small woman and never drove a big truck before so I asked if they have a smaller car like Corolla or similar, but there is none, we had to upgrade with upgraded cost. It was estimated $208.90, instead of $150 originally. I returned the car right on time at 2pm, but the charge increased to $219.75 with 3 hrs of extra charge instead of 2hrs. Even thou it is only $10 more but I think Hertz should honor the estimated of $208.90 or a nicer gesture of renting me a small car instead!! Lesson learn: never book a "Manager Special" rental car!!!

Seemed like they were busier than usual as we had about a 30 minute wait. I rented a full size car and were given a small Prius, which was difficult to get in and out at our age. I believe it was the only car.

The place was understaffed, which led to a long wait times. The employee that helpled me wasn't very friendly. The Gold membership didn't do anything to check out quicker, and they also didn't allow me to upgrade the vehicle, which are perks of the membership. Not worth it. And the worst experience was getting a dirty car. Do not recommend.

The young woman at the desk, all alone, was overworked. She did a great job and should be paid double her salary as she did the job of 2-3 people. The company, Hertz, overbooks reservation to an extreme amount and should not be trusted!

All went well except the pick up, where we had a 2 hr wait in line. I'd say avoid the downtown Denver location (on Welton st.), it's terrible. The staff did their best but somehow the processes at that location are poorly designed and it takes forever for each person to get their rental.
