I am not a "car" person, so didn't know a Volvo is SO special that I had to go into the office, wait in line, only to re-show my license and have my credit card scanned again...even though both are in the system prior to my arrival. Then, on my return, the man guiding cars into the lines, was rude and arrogant. I didn't need that attitude trying to drop that car off.

A mixed bag
When things go right with Hertz, the offer good cars at a good price. However, their customer service is helpless when things go wrong and I've never been able to redeem Hertz points despite years of trying.

The last few cars I have rented were less than Presidents Club Cars. High mileage, noisy, and bad odors.

Charged fr washing! Ridiculous
Got a car last minute. Great car and great price. Drove Denver to Chicago to arrive n get charged $75 fr washing!!! Calling to complain today. It was just lots of dead bug splats as to be expected, nothing out of the ordinary. Very frustrating.
