Waited 25 min outside freezing…
The office in the airport was closed and was outside in the garage. There were about 15 people ahead of me and we had to wait standing in the freezing cold for about 25 min. It was brutal! Hertz has to do better than this!!!

Albany Hertz provided a nice rental experience
Once we were able to find the Gold+ counter our experience was GREAT! However finding and accessing the Gold+ booth is really difficult from the terminal with luggage.
That said, the staff were friendly, helpful and had our car waiting. The vehicle was also a true pleasure to drive during the week.

Albany continues to be one of the
Albany continues to be one of the more challenging Hertz locations. Multiple notifications days prior to our ALB arrival then again being told they have no paperwork on our reservation. Other recent rentals … PCB, in and out in less than 5 minutes and that included the three customers in line before me. Additionally, we understand cannabis is legal in NY but the last several times our car has reeked. Several rentals ago we had to get another vehicle.

The person giving the cars away was very rude and had a poor attitude toward regular customers. They were always on the phone and did not want to help. Very poor customer service.
