I booked my practical driving test in December just before lockdown for 6th May, days later the lockdown was put in place. After lockdown With everything opening up from April 12th. And tests starting again from 24th, I knew I only had 3 weeks or so until my actual test day. I could not thank Jay @Heros anymore. Firstly for finding the time to fit me in with as many lessons as possible and to make sure I was ready. I was given so much time and help throughout my 3 weeks. I could not have asked for a better instructor, very patient and calm and understanding. Jay made me feel very confident and comfortable and always had a positive attitude. I would highly recommend Jay at HEROS. Thank you again- First time Pass!!!

Had a great experience good feedback. Jay was very polite and he made sure I am absolutely ready before the exam. I was extremly anxious but he made me feel comfortable pointed out my mistakes and me practice on those points.

I couldn’t recommend Michelle from Hero enough. She was very patient with me and made me feel confident with driving. She even gave me great tips on how to calm my anxiety before my test and I passed first time. Thank you!

I found my driving instructor Michelle from this company after having an awful time with a previous company, and I was shocked with how professional, thorough and committed they where. My driving and confidence improved drastically in only a couple of weeks, more than it ever had in the months with my previous instructor. I would suggest Michelle and this company if you want to learn how to drive safely and expertly, I’m happy to say after never thinking I would pass I was able to pass first time and I am now driving around confidently.

I am really happy to have gone with HERO for my learning to drive journey. Mas has been understanding and flexible to my needs and he turned me from a very nervous driver to someone who has now passed her test with only 1 minor fault and who is excited and more comfortable about driving a car. Hero driving school is a brilliant driving school, I done the intensive course with Mas and he really got the best out of me, and helped me pass my driving test first time. Even if you're nervous like i was, Mas does an excellent job teaching methods to improve driving and confidence. One way is self commentating, even though I had my doubts at the begining this really helped improve my driving and maked checks second nature! Once again thank you can't recommend enough

I’ve just passed my driving test on the first attempt. Rashed is an amazing instructor. He had great encouragement, enthusiasm and belief in my driving throughout the few months of our lessons. I was in a rush to pass due to the nature of my work. He gave me priority over lessons and believed that I could pass first time even though I was nervous all the time. I kept making silly mistakes and it took forever to finally get a grasp of roundabouts. I'm very thankful to Rashed for being so patient and calm with me.

I would highly recommend him if you’re thinking of learning to drive Automatic in Colchester!! Many thanks again Rashed!!

I started with Hero driving school with the instructor Jay. He makes you feel so comfortable and explains and teaches things so well ! He’s very patient and a very good teacher as I passed my practical first time with only 3 minors !! Amazing and would recommend !!

I cannot thank Hero Driving School, in particular my instructor, Mas for teaching me and being patient with me. I know I can get on people's nerves sometimes and Mas has been the most patient, calm and professional, maybe even tiny bit funny at times. The whole experience has been positive and calm. Thank you Mas as without you as my instructor I know i wouldn't have passed 1st attempt. Wish you and #herodrivingschool all the luck!

I am very grateful to the Hero driving school and Kabir my instructor for enabling to pass my driving test first time. Kabir was very helpful and insightful at identifying areas I could improve in to get my driving to that of a passing level. He was also very understanding of my long hours as a doctor and was able to accommodate lessons in the evenings and on weekends. Coming up to my exam, he made himself available for longer lessons which allowed me to strengthen the weaker aspects of my driving. I am very pleased with the service on a whole and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I passed my test first time thanks to Hero driving school and my driving instructor, Kabir!

I enjoyed the teaching methods. He boosted my confidence significantly and made me feel comfortable at all times. He was also very patient and understanding even when I was making a lot of mistakes.

Michelle was absolutely amazing... Tough on me but that made it all the better because I passed first time. I couldn't recommend someone more, I felt very comfortable and very confident once passing. She is very knowledgeable and really cares. I struggle with anxiety but she was incredibly understanding and really helped in any way she could. Thoroughly recommend.

I had a great few months with my instructor KABIR, he was incredibly patient and so helpful with all instructions, I wish there were more instructors like kabir and. I passed first time with only 1 minor with 32 hours.
He is a great instructor. 😊😊

I passed first time with Michelle. She is an excellent driving instructor and made me feel so relaxed when learning to drive. I had tried to learn multiple times in previous years but got disheartened with other instructors from different schools after failing a test. She is really knowledgeable, was able to work around my busy schedule and taught me things I hadn’t been taught before, even though id had many hours of lessons previously. She is super patient, sociable and was eager to understand how I like to learn to know what approach to take. She also taught me easier ways to remember things and would send videos for me to watch in her spare time, sometimes hours after my lessons had ended. I’m over the moon that I passed today but sad I won’t be seeing Michelle anymore. Honestly, she is the best instructor to learn with and I will be forever grateful!!

After two other driving instructors where I didn’t progress much I found Robbie. Every lesson was fun, improved my confidence and I actually felt that I was learning. I really wish I had found Robbie sooner and not wasted so much money on the others. Robbie was always calm, relaxed, very positive and in very good humour – if I made a mistake then Robbie would just get me to practice again and again. He was never critical. I have now passed with only 3 minor faults. I will definitely be recommending Robbie.
