Review provided by previous reviewer explains everything. They've gone bust but still taking money for orders.

I placed an order on 15 April, they didn't respond to either of my chase up emails.

Will now contact my bank to get money back. As customers we have dozens of reputable and trusted alternatives to places like Brummels. They may have been trustworthy at one point, and I feel sorry for the staff who may have lost their jobs.

Just shows what a useful consumer resource Trustpilot is.

Do not order from this site, steel your money never reply or get goods I only spent £60 and have contacted bank to investigate to get money back will be visiting to pay a little visit

I placed the order on the 19.04.19 and still haven't received it yet they Don't answer phone or reply to emails absolutely disaster costumer Service is poorly beware anyone ordering from them..

Been waiting since the 19th April. Almost £500 order & nothing. Phone engaged or recorded message with no option to leave a message. Don’t reply to emails.
Bought from them several times, they’ve got progressively worse.

First time placing an order online from here, ordered 8 days ago spending over £200+ No delivery of goods, no despatch confirmation and no response to emails and they do not answer the phone and definitely do not come back to you either! Have sent 2 emails and have made over 25 calls to both their numbers and no one picks up. They have took my money and i’ve not even seen the goods and had no response. I’m not sure if they are real as i’ve had no response so I have reported them to my bank to investigate further. Avoid at all costs! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

Really bad customer service. I have been waiting for a refund for over a month now. Original email was replied to over 5 week ago advising they will process my refund still hasn’t been actioned. Since then I have email 4 times with no reply and ring 3 times. Each time they advised it will be actioned and still nothing

Avoid. Bought a few things off them in the past but won't any longer. Sent an item back on 17 Jan 2019. It was signed for on 22 Jan 2019. Today is 11 Feb 2019- 20 days and still no refund. They say it takes 14 working days to refund (total rubbish - I run my business and will refund immediately and it takes 24 hrs max really). It is now 16 working days and 20 days overall. Basically they sit on your money. I have called countless times (mostly engaged or goes to answer phone). called again today, promised call back with 30 mins and guess what? No call. Called back and was told "No one has actioned the refund yet. I'll do it today via sage and it will show back withing 24-48 hours. So that's 20 days to do nothing. poor

Great store for designer clothes at some brilliant sale prices. HOWEVER....... all this is completely let down by the lack of customer service. Everything runs smooth until you need a refund. This is well known throughout on various sites where people have used Henry Brummel. The owner must be mad or loaded because if they could sort out their refund policy(you have to chase them continually) then there would be a lot more business for them. I know People that don’t use this site purely because of the lack of customer service/refund policy no matter how good the sales are.

Decent items and good prices in the sale - delivery costs are excessively high though. If you need to return an item everything goes downhill. No acknowledgement of a return and they never a process a refund until at least the 28 day max they advise on the website. Nobody answers the phone and usually takes daily emails for a couple of weeks before they process any refund. Avoid unless you are sure you wont need to send anything back. This is a well known issue with this store - read the reviews. Has happened to me multiple times so this isnt just an angry one off review

Truly appalling customer service, should have known better, should have read the reviews first, please do yourself a favour, never place an order here, you have been warned, return was signed for on 06/08, still awaiting refund, never never never purchase from this store

Placed a web order on Sat 11th August, got an email from Henry Brummel on Mon 13th August informing me that my item shipped. They took my money from my bank account on Tue 14th August. I still had not received my purchase on Sat 18th Aug, I phoned them sat 18th Aug to ask why my order had not been delivered and they gave a lame excuse that they were busy that week. I asked for a delivery tracking number and the number they gave me showed no records on royal mail website. all in all an absolute joke for a web shop delivery service. If you need something in a hurry I suggest you totally avoid this company as they take your money from your bank account at least a week before they ship your order. best avoid this company if you are looking for something in a hurry. As I write this review I am still waiting on my order, joke.
