I had the pleasure of being trained and assessed by Bradley, he was professional and friendly and made the experience alot easier to manage.
He clearly explained what was needed, offered great words of encouragement, and had a laugh along the way. Ode and Lois were also great.
I would definitely recommend the team and the course.

Great GVC course excellent instructor made it a calm chilled experience which made the whole experience great

Training provided is to a very high standard, with online support via chat available if needed or via phone call.

Training videos are very good and you get the benefit of watching them again, should you need to.

The team are very polite and more than happy to assist with any queries.

The online course can be done at your own pace, once practical works have been completed you get 12months to sit the exam. The exams are free of charged should you need to resit any, which is good to know for peace of mind.

I will definitely be using Heliguy in the future, to gain further experience and more qualifications.

Attended the Heliguy UAS maintenance course at their headquaters in Newcastle. Training venue was ideal and the course content was clear with both theory and practical inputs. Delivered by Ody clearly and concisely, the input generated student participation with appropriate topic discussion in a friendly atmosphere. The takeaway is the importance of regular UAS maintenance within the scope of the course and accurate record keeping Lunch was good too.

Just completed my GVC drone assessment, Lois was very friendly and helpful throughout my training making it an all round enjoyable experience.

I recently completed the A2 CofC Drone Training Course. Heliguy's website is user-friendly, and the A2 course was easy to follow yet thorough. It covers all relevant aspects in depth, and the updated handbook reflects a commendable level of diligence and awareness of industry changes.

I completed my A2 Certificate of Competency Flight Declaration, which was validated in April 2025. At that point, I was advised to contact the training team to book my Theoretical Assessment when ready, with a reminder that it must be completed within 12 months of validation.

Due to work and other commitments, time passed quickly and I only remembered to book my exam in March 2026, just before the deadline. One small suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a courtesy reminder, perhaps at the six-month mark or three months before expiry. This would be a thoughtful touch that demonstrates ongoing customer care and engagement.

That said, the support I received throughout was excellent, and I would happily recommend Heliguy.

Course was easy to follow and very thorough. I feel like I have an excellent understanding now and so much more competent - in fact, if someone has Heliguy training course on their CV, then I know they are going to be proficient. The best part of the training was the practical training with Lois. An outstanding instructor who is personable and informative. I couldn't recommend her enough.

I have recently completed my GVC course with Heliguy & from the theoretical to the practical exam, the Heliguy team were friendly, helpful & professional. In particular, a thank you to Lois (my practical examiner). Lois' friendly, approachable & patient demeanor meant I was able to conduct my test in a calm, professional environment. I have been completing training with heliguy as part of my qualification within my employment for Emergancy services. Whilst you’re getting used to terminology/ understanding UA / airspace, things can be confusing. However if Iv ever gone beyond needing help from my force, Iv contacted heliguy and been met with friendly, approachable and understanding responses, which have all been nothing but helpful.

I have then completed my GVC exam, which was a distance away from where I am based. The exam was in London which is a three hour trip, and I can imagine 5-6 hours for the examiner from heliguy, which shows dedication. Unfortunately on the day, the examiners car broke down, which we wernt aware of, as he still walked a whole four miles to and from his accommodation, with all his equipment, to ensure he was still with us, and early!

The trainers show real commitment, friendliness and professionalism to the company, aswell as making you feel as ease.

Everything was explained clearly and the examiner was a wealth of knowledge, who was charismatic making you feel at ease but still very professional! Ryan was the examiner and he genuinely is an asset to the company!

The course at Heliguy was superb. It felt a little overwhelming at first when confronted with the whole course. But everything required is included. I just went through the course one step at a time and passed first time at the other end feeling a lot more confident and knowledgeable. The team at Heliguy were also so supportive and available whenever I needed them, as well as being so understanding whenever I needed a guiding hand. Would certainly recommend.

I had a brilliant experience using heliguy. Kieran and the team kept me updated regularly about the progress of repairs and updates. It made me feel at ease about the process, with a quick turnaround time. It was a quick, simple and easy service. I’ll definitely be using heliguy again!

I lost my drone on Tuesday, put my claim in on Wednesday, brand new drone arrived Friday morning. Superb service and communication. Top guys!!!!

I sent my Inspire 3 in for a service and following an initial diagnosis the craft was sent on to DJI for further inspection. A replacement craft was subsequently sent out free of charge.
The service team did a brilliant job of keeping me informed through the process and arranged everything promptly and with care. Many thanks again!

The team at heliguy were incredibly helpful and really quick to respond to messages. Clearly outlined the issue we had with the drone, and arranged for it to be returned to DJI. Can't recommed them highly enough!

Our experience with Heliguy has been fantastic start to finish. As long as you put in the effort and passed, they were able to cater and support our incredibly tight deadlines required for our certifications. Start to finish I completed the course in just 1 very intense week (alongside other work), in which their flexibility in providing examination timeslots was key to keep our tight project timeline on track.

I need to commend Heliguys for their very high levels of professionalism and dedication to maintaining the highest standards. While this made it a week of very hard work, this is the level of training you would want anyone you hire or contract with certification to have. You should have no doubt when hiring someone with Heliguy’s certifications that the company has done everything possible to prepare this individual under the highest standards.

Lastly, our equipment purchasing experience as well has been spectacular in the past, present, and looking forward to the future.

Note, allow yourself and Heliguy more time than one week! This will make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

We have been working with Heliguy to supply us with reasonably priced DJI drones for scientific research for a few years now and they have always gone above and beyond to support us and troubleshooting any issue that may arise from the unit purchased with them. We would happily suggest them to colleagues!

I used Heliguy to renew my GVC and A2CoC drone qualifications. The course was very thorough and the training resources provided were excellent. The exam process was very easy. I can't recommend Heliguy enough for renewing your qualifications.
