I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jodie Leggett to anybody purchasing their first home. From start to finish she has been fantastic in every aspect and I genuinely couldn't have asked her to do any more. Any questions or queries we had were answered promptly and left us reassured every single time. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Julia Schofield during the purchase of my property. The sale was repeatedly delayed due to poor handling and a complete lack of communication throughout the process. If it hadn’t been for my solicitor stepping in and pushing things forward, I genuinely don’t believe the sale would have completed.
I constantly had to chase for updates and involve multiple people just to get basic responses and progress. Julia came across as incredibly inexperienced and unprofessional, which made an already stressful process even worse.
I honestly do not understand how someone with this level of incompetence is the director of a company. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using their services.

Great communication from Annabel and Maja, they worked so hard to get me into my house asap and went above and beyond with chasing information and chasing others to get the letters and stuff back asap, would highly recommend, genuinely a pleasure having them as solicitors

So pleased I chose Hayward Moon to handle the sale of my house. Lynne Warren at Hayward Moon Colchester was fast, efficient, communicated clearly and was really helpful and supportive. I haven’t found my next property yet but I wouldn’t use anyone else for that purchase.

Can’t actually rave about Hayward Moon enough (particularly Jodie & her assistant Charlotte!). Myself and my partner were first time buyers, with absolutely no idea what we were doing and I could not have done it without Jodie. She is so lovely & friendly, never kept us waiting, never over-complicated things, made us laugh when things felt overwhelming and I knew I could relax when I saw her name pop up in my inbox! I recommend her to anyone and everyone - she helped to make the purchase of our first home so special and she truly deserves a medal!
