From the friendly and efficient booking by Dan to the generous welcome from Matthew, and the delicious lunch accompanied by Gusbourne's unrivalled sparkling wines, the Icons tour, tasting, and lunch was an experience to remember.
I would recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely the best English Sparkling wine there is. I order directly from them and it's a real treat to enjoy with friends. My favourite is the Brut Reserve.

Why would you visit Gusbourne vineyard, in fact any vineyard, that is unable to let you sample the wine before purchasing? Equally, as a founder member… yes a member of Gusbourne’s membership scheme… with the promise of some priority service …do they feel it’s ok to treat you like an idiot? (1) they can’t open a bottle of the wine I was there to purchase by the case and (2) then proceed to spend 10 minutes selling me the look of a new bottle design rather than its contents… (probably says something about that particular wine). After a few days reflection I decided to cancel my membership which through experience has resulted in zero benefit to me, compounded by poor customer/membership care.

What you describe is not the standard of hospitality we aim to offer. We do in fact offer tastings of our wines on site and are sorry to hear that this was not made available to you on the day. We also take your feedback about how our team communicated very seriously and have continued to develop both our membership experience and our guest service since then.
