Absolute waste of time and money
Absolute waste of time and money! I received approximately 5 email enquiries all from Scammers offering to pay me by certified cheque and will not be using this platform in future! Also when I enquired to retrieve a previous advert which I placed 2 or 3 years ago on this website, I received a reply from Lisa at Guntrader telling me that the advert should be saved in my account. The advert clearly dropped off the system and this should have been retrieved for me. This website has clearly gone down hill since it has been taken over from the previous management.

Thank you for your email, and I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with both the enquiries and the missing advert.
Unfortunately, scam attempts are an issue across many online marketplaces and are not unique to Guntrader. We actively work to identify and reduce this type of activity, but some still occasionally get through despite our safeguards.
Regarding your previous advert, listings created 2–3 years ago would have been stored on our old system. Since then, Guntrader has undergone a full website and platform update, and data from the previous system is not transferable or retrievable.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Easy to put your air rifle up for sale and cheep aswell and very helpfull the team are they updated my post for me as i wasnt able to do it but one message to them and it was done very pleased with guntrader as i did manage to sell my air rifle will definatly use this service again

I advertised my shotgun as a hushpower…
I advertised my shotgun as a hushpower but when i searched for it under that search word it didnt show. Edit: I have now changed this from 1 to a 4 star review. The customer service was excellent and dealt with the original problem really well and gave me another months advert. So although the advertising process could be clearer and easier the customer service is excellent.

As a relatively new RFD, Guntrader and its software is invaluable, it’s easy to use, stops anything being forgotten and keeps me compliant.
They are supportive, helpful and easy to deal with. And for the extra bit of money over a manual or excel system worth every penny

Unfortunately I have had only two enquiries and I believe they were both from BOTS asking the same questions. When trying to contact the enquirers by phone the numbers given were not correct.

There has still been no postcode lookup added to the site as of 16/03/26 and this feature went down weeks ago.

The postcode lookup was previously provided by a third-party service which stopped working without notice, so the issue was temporary while we worked on a solution. As soon as we identified the correct way to resolve it, we implemented the postcode lookup back onto the website.
