Avoid the house special coffee blend

The house special coffee blend is very strange - more fruity than actual coffee. Even milk and sugar don’t do much to change the taste. Highly recommend to avoid that particular blend. Tin and cup are of seemingly good quality but cup is very expensive for what it is.

Best coffee and love my subscription. To anyone experiencing bursting pods I had this but have learned to pierce them first. Three little jabs with a needle or pin top to bottom and now they are perfect. Consider it worth the extra effort.

Bare faced cheek

I felt it presumptuous to request a review given that I have had not notification of my order having been dispatched. Whilst I recognise that it can take time for an order to be processed, the bare minimum expectation would be knowing that the order has been shipped before asking for feedback.

Should probably do a slowpoke tin.

I ordered it 12 days ago and it's not here yet. Its a gift for a birthday in may and i hadn't really thought about it until I saw a request for a review (still says it's confirmed and being prepared).

Maybe its slow because special items but I'm in a bad mood for other reasons so 1/5.
Do not ask for a review before you deliver the item.

My Grind milk frother broke

My Grind milk frother broke. The handle became detached. Grind couldn't replace it like for like as they were out of stock and couldn't say when they'd be restocked, so they sent me an earlier version. It wasn't as good, but it meant that we could still enjoy our Grind coffee. Lina sent me the new updated design as soon as it became available last week. We had to return the old one first as advised. Due to Lina's excellent customer care, the new one arrived just 2 days later including 30 complementary pods. We have had the Grind coffee machine and frother for over a year. We also
subscribe to the coffee pods. The subscription process is really easy. Delivery every 2 months with an option to skip our reschedule. The coffee is organic and the pods are biodegradable and go in our food waste bin. Wonderful coffee, we wouldn't be without it. Thank you Grind. Keep up the good work.

Please avoid

Please avoid! I ordered the Pokémon collection around 3 weeks ago and at the time of ordering it said it was in stock I waited about 4 to 5 days I had received no updates on my order. I have sent collectively around 30 to 35 emails regarding my order not turning up I was met with the same copy and paste generic response to which I was told that they underestimated how many orders they would get I personally believe they did not prioritise orders specifically mine as I saw online people got their orders well after I ordered mine I sent an email saying you might be violating certain rights and certain laws and within 14 hours they sent off my order and I had the coffee and the tins with me. The coffee is bitter I thought it was just me so I tried it with my dad and he said the same thing. My partner said that the strongest coffee smells mild. He does not like coffee at all. Overall very disappointed would not recommend 0/ 10.

Disappointing switch to AI customer service

I've had to deal with customer services a handful of times over the few years ordering from Grind and they've always resolved issues quickly, however now their initial customer service email responses are AI generated, which looks like it's designed to bat away customer queries with generic answers.
They put the requirement on the customer to ask for their issue to be escalated to a human, which is a pretty poor customer experience.

This time when I was able to deal with a human, they also batted me away with a copy paste answer, before looking into the issue further and realising an out of stock item as preventing my order from being picked. I got the impression that if I hadn't chased this order 3 times, it would have simply never been picked.

I've had rolling subscriptions with Grind for a few years and occasionally orders would get missed, and whatever, these things happen, but they always resolved it quickly when contacted. It does seem like their expansion has had a negative impact on the customer.

If an AI customer service agent cannot actually help a customer, will there be any customers left to service?

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service. I ordered a t-shirt and tin from the Pokemon collab and ordered the wrong size shirt and they sorted this right away. Coffee, tin and t-shirt are lovely.
