Very helpful at the York Vanguard Store. Saw a product online and they matched the online price plus helped us load it into our vehicle. Will Adamson along with his manager and the young checkout lad were all a credit to the company. Happy, smiley, knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with. Wanted to give a shout out to the awesome Jack in the tent department at the Vanguard branch on June 21st. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and approachable giving us all the facts we needed to make an informed decision on which tent to buy. We went back today and bought the Berghaus Air tent 400xl. I hope this review gets back to his manager!

I came to the store to try on some walking boots after doing a considerable amount of 'window shopping' online.
After picking up a brand I thought would be suitable and Mark approached to offer assistance. He sought to establish what I wanted from the boots, he used my response to provide a handful of options for me to try.
Mark was extremely knowledgeable, listened intently and was happy to answer any questions, doing his utmost to meet my needs.
Great service! I don't think I would have left with the great boots I did, without his help!

I was served by Niamh who was great! Efficient and knowledgeable and equally importantly cheerful and enthusiastic. All round a great experience, product was delivered to the car as well, which was a big help.

I purchased some walking shoes and was served by Chris on the footwear department and what a friendly knowledgable guy he was - gave me sound advice and helped me find the perfect walking shoe - very attentive also

We went in for a nosey at tents and left with one with thanks to Jack.
Lots to chose from and couldn't decide on air or poles.

Found lots of lovely things to try on. Went to fitting rooms. Followed instructions. Rang bell and waited… and waited. The bell rang ok but no one responded. I left after 12 minutes. Frustrating and disappointing. Will not return in a hurry!
