Reading the other reviews I can see great service was not a one off. I was expecting to see Blacks shop. I had always shied away from go outdoors as thought it would be a hassle to do membership. Oh no Shirley was eager to help and explained the best way to get me signed up and use discounts available. Brilliant service and now for £5 I get the deals at all go outdoors.

I didn't realise that Go Outdoors had a branch in Worcester. I had excellent service today from Shirley, when buying some trainers and a jacket. She was extremely helpful, polite and friendly, making sure that I bought the correct size of trainers and making me aware that there was also a waterproof version. Thankyou.

Shirley was a huge help in finding suitable boots for me. Plenty of attention to detail while fetching different sizes to try on. Service beyond what I had expected.

Limited stock in Worcester store. Seems to sell lower end Companies like Peter Storm. NB. The Rab contact gloves only deserve a 1 star as fingers are too long and the contact fabric is so annoying that you have to take them off to do anything. I couldn’t find any way to put a review on their website. Date of purchase is approximate.

Trying to get some winter gears for my Scotland trip and as usual Shirley (2592) is really helpful and I got everything I need in the end.

We had super helpful staff, buying a down jacket. Faced with our membership card failing to register, Shirley and her colleague patiently found a workaround enabling us to secure the great discount. We'll be back! Thanks all.

The sales assistant, lady very helpful and polite. I purchased a £169. Berghaus walking coat. Worcester customer order number was 688672866 dated 17th November and was delivered promptly to the store today 19th November. I requested at the point of sale that I would wish to try it on.

The collection of the item was well below the expected help and courtesy.
On entering the store two male assistants were conversing and although I said good afternoon was to totally ignored. I approached the unmanned cash desk and waited for service. No other customers were in the store. The item was delivered by carrier in a sealed paper bag. I had to ask if the assistant could unpack the bag as I had requested at the point of sale that I would wish to do so.l then had to ask that the coat could be extracted from the sealed clear bag.
Once again no obvious help was coming forward.
The coat was as I required, I was pleased with the garment but was concerned for your business not showing the care previously visited after you took over from Blacks . Perhaps the “ gentlemen” could be retrained by your elderly lady when you took over the
store. Perhaps they are unhappy with giving service.

I needed some new walking boots and called in to the Worcester store. They had a good range and Nicola gave some good advice and helped me choose a pair of Scarpa Terra GTX which seemed to be well made and very comfortable straight out of the box. Also lots of helpful info from Shirley regarding how to care for them regards proofing etc. Thanks.

The staff in the Worcester branch are very helpful and friendly. On my recent visit I was using the UPS parcel drop off service. Shirley was particularly helpful regarding my parcels which, despite me having followed Amazon's instructions, did not have exactly the right documentation. She was very patient and sorted everything out efficiently. Thank you.

Called into the Worcester store to buy a pair of Salomon walking boots that I had researched and were rated high for people suffering with Plantar Fasciitis. I was over the moon when I saw them on the shelf then bitterly disappointed when they didn’t have my size. Then came along Daisy the most helpful and pleasant shop assistant that I have come across in a long while! Nothing was too much trouble (as I now had to try on a whole range of walking boots) going and fetching lots of different sizes etc and she was incredibly patient as I had to keep changing out the insoles for my insoles. It came down to 2 different brands and I couldn’t choose between so Daisy an offered very helpful suggestions and a common sense approach to my dilemma. I am sure by now she was desperate to get me out of the shop! However she was professional to the very end! I left with a pair of very comfy boots thanks to Daisy.

I ordered a waterproof jacket online and had it delivered to my local store. A very easy procedure and I even picked up a special offer torch during my collection.

I was served by Shirley who was very helpful in guiding me towards the most appropriate form of walking shoe for my needs and foot type. Very knowledgeable about the technical properties of the various shoes that I tried on (Merrell, Scarpa and Meindl) and the best value for the requirements I had.
