Went in to get everything my grandson needed for his upcoming Duke of Edinburgh trip. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about DoE and the best equipment and clothing to buy at a reasonable price.
Will return for anything else we need.

I got the particular brand and type of men’s walking boots I was looking for.
Chloe who served me was polite, helpful and very efficient.

Great to go into a shop where the sales staff are so knowledgeable and can advise you on different hiking shoes/trainers, hiking socks and insoles.

According to my receipt I was served by Assistant 006, a chap. He was very helpful and patiently listened to my podiatry problems. He found a really comfortable walking shoe for me, with a lot of room in the toe box, and made sure it fitted well. I am breaking them in around home at the moment but I am optimistic they will allow me to go on rambles without experiencing foot pain for the next week or so.

Emma at tunbridge wells is amazing she’s one of those rare people you meet that treats you like family even though it’s your first time meeting her. Great smile, great energy. You couldn’t have anyone better representing the company. She is great!

Whilst visiting my daughter in Tonbridge, I took her along to the Tunbridge Wells Outdoor shop as my granddaughter is doing a D of E course and needed some equipment including walking boots. My daughter was served by a lovely young man by the name of Caleb. After he had sorted out the boots for my granddaughter, Caleb assisted myself in choosing a pair of boots. He was so informative on the selection available and was also extremely patient in my indecisiveness on choosing the right pair. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I have received exceptional service in which in this visit, for a young man of Caleb’s age, it is unusual to receive such service and so I just had to commend him for his patience, advice and his personality. Well done Caleb and thank you.

Bowled over by the level of customer service in store today (2.5.26) ibrahim and a lovely lady who’s name I didn’t note but between them they made me and my 14 year old son feel so comfortable they were like personal shoppers. We had no knowledge as we entered the store -James is embarking on D of E bronze and the support and advice was amazing. We got everything on our list but not because there was a hard sell but because Ibrahim and his colleague were focused on making sure James had what he needed. Teenagers don’t normally enjoy shopping but as we left the store James was enthusing as to how much fun we had had and how excited he was about the kit we had purchased. I don’t feel I see the good old fashioned customer service demonstrated in retail stores anymore but my word it’s certainly delivered and delivered enthusiastically and passionately at Go Outdoors Tunbridge Wells. What a great experience- highly recommend!
